INSTALLING REMARK AXLE BACK EXHAUST ON LEXUS IS350 IN DETAIL

Hello. I just installed my axle back exhaust on my 2015 Lexus IS350. I used the spring bolts and had to buy extra nuts to fit spring bolts because the factory nuts are welded onto the stock exhaust piping. When I tightened the bolts there is a 1/4” gap between the flanges. Which is causing an exhaust leak and a lot of drone in the cabin. Am I missing something here? Please advise. Thank you. They make a tool for exhaust hangers it's much easier than what he's doing.

Loved the video. Glad you did cut off any of parts of you struggling, it gave me confidence that i could do it to mine. I’m still not sure if I wanna do it alone I’ll probably see what a shop tells it would cost then determine it. Btw was tht the single wall or double wall?

Thank you for including that piece about the m10x1.25 nuts. I just got an axle back on my RC350 and want to reuse the original bolts/springs vs the cheap ones that came with the exhaust.

You bro you made so much more work for yourself.. Them hangers. Just use some channel locks one end on hanger nipple and one end on the back of the hanger and squeeze and it will come off. And never take off the muffler hangers off first. Always do the front axle bolt hangers first. Lol

REALe? It's the COOKING gloveS got me😁 just some friendly advice. PREsoak the connecting pointS with PENETRATION SPRAY prior to. Makes life lot EASIER 👌🏿

I have the RR Racing tune and intake on mine. Have been thinking about this exhaust system. This actually gives an all around perspective of the sound. It's my first Lexus coming from all sorts of European cars.

My mechanic left the stock rubber clamp things on instead of putting the orange ones sent by remark… didn’t need those nuts either because it came with the exhaust.. do you think that’s an issue?

Nice vid homie. Angle pliers will make taking the exhaust off the hangers effortless. Also, If you replacing the mount for the hangers you just needa do the top one and leave the mount attached to the exhaust lol

Can you send a link to where you got the axle back exhaust? Is it the same one online that goes to a 2017-2020 IS 350?? Do they both fit on 2017 and 2006 models??
