Installing Start-X Remote Starter on my 2011 Silverado 

I just installed this on my truck took less than an hour. Now I’m out here being x-tra. Remote starting for no reason 😂

Is this really everything you have to do? I’m looking into ordering this and want to be sure what I’m getting myself into

You didn't look into the bag of 'professional install' parts?

Any ideas on the issue im having. 2013 Silverado 1500, got this remote start today. hooking everything up was extremely easy, got to the part for programming, the LED was solid red, i turned the key to on, it started flashing green for about a minute, then it started to give 4 flashes of red and just stayed stuck on that. after about 2-3 minutes of 4 red flashes i would turn the key off as it didnt seem to be working, reset the module by removing the blue plug from the module and then holding the reset button while plugging the blue plug back in (left the red plug in the module) got the solid orange LED to confirm it was reset and then tried turning the key to on and then I got the same issue.

Mine doesn’t work most of the time and some times hardly cranks for a second other times it works just fine
