Bought one for my 2019 Titan and it worked just fine for a couple months. Then my truck wouldn’t start (push button start) but the accessory would turn on. Would have to disconnect the battery and reconnect then it would start. Then it wouldn’t shut off. Had to pull the fuel pump fuse. Took the remote start out and my truck worked perfectly.

I live up in the mountains and every morning I leave for work between midnight and 3 am. We have wolves, bears, and big cats out here and I gotta load my dog up each morning! Don't feel like losing my dog like that! I figure remotely starting the truck and having good lighting should help spook them "before" I go outside! Sofar I only see predator food/deer out there! When they are there = good, when they aren't there, it's possible that they've moved on because of a predator being close! I think remote start would be helpful! Plus I like heat and defrosted windows!

I don't know if this is a dumb question if I were to install this on my 2006 Honda, once it starts, do I just put the key in the ignition and put it to on? do I have to worry about the engine not shutting off? If the engine is on will it drive without the key? My only other thing is the car is old and the key fob's range is practically nothing. any advice on how to improve it? Can I start my car from my phone instead?

What if I don’t have automatic door locks (don’t want to install motor/locks) - would I just be able to use it for the remote start ?

I assume you’d most likely need to have a key fob because that’s how this device operates. This kit Doesn’t come with a fob because you use the factory one that goes to your vehicle. And I guess if you don’t have power locks you probably don’t have a fob. So I don’t think this one would work for you. Might try researching google on remote starts for vehicle without power locks.

Well my car fit in it. Lol. Looking to move. So let me tell you my story long story short. Have a daughter got sick. Had to stop work to take care off her. She got better for me to go back to work was working crazy hrs to the point I was killing my self and my daughter was needing me. So I decided to slow dawn and do 25 a week cause my daughter needed me. I had to move to a income based apartment with a program that will allow me to stay home and take care off my daughter. She has psychosis lost her memory I wanted and she needed me so one time I when to go to work at 7am just put 4 new tires on my gas getting it ready for winter as we have lots off doctors appointments and wanted to be safe. Mine you I had to save for it. So I walked to the car. Someone has stolen a tire and had it on a jack. I was so upset and was crying all day at work as I was explaining I save to be able to have tires and be safe in winter. So I took care off it. It was nice they put it on a jack for me. So 1 week later I walk to my car start the car it was so 🔊 Someone stole my muffler and cadilac converter. Omg. Why. I work and save so hard and make sacrifice to have what I have under my situation. I need a remote started and alarm. So now I'm hoping they don't take anything else till I save to get the remote. My fingers cross. So I'm looking for something that's I can get fast and install my self. Thanks.

Is engine idling illegal? Yes. Under Section 42 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, engine idling is an offence. The Highway Code also has a rule against engine idling.

I recently installed this product on my 2018 ford explorer exactly as the manufacturer instructions said to Tried the remote start function and my vehicles lights flashed, horn sounded , pauses 10 seconds, and sounded the horn again without starting Any suggestions ?

Not sure what would be causing that issue. I’d assume the explorer and f150 are similar with their systems. Could be the explorer has slight differences that doesn’t allow this remote start to work properly. Idk sorry to hear about your troubles. I’m sure you can send the product back and they’ll refund you completely.

The a/c does come on if the outside temperature is hot enough. I believe it depends on the outside temperature. The fan won’t blow on high until you turn the key to on unfortunately.

I heard some of the more recent fords have remote start but have it turned off at the factory. You need a remote key and an obd II to activate it. Not sure since mine's too old to apply.

Im not sure if thats only on newer models only but my truck recognized that it had been remote started so before you put the key in it says insert keys to drive or something like that in the gauge cluster.

We've purchased a Compustar 4900S 2-Way CSX Remote Start System for a 2009 Honda CRV and there is No Connections Diagram Included between the CM-900 Module and the Starter Interrupt Relay. Just wondering if you can help with the actual wires connections diagram or instructions. This is a 5 Pin Relay (Tianbo - TRV4-L-12V-Z-F) with 2 Yellow Wires, 1 Yellow/Black Wires, One Blue & One Green. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I've installed a bulldog remote start system. The brake pedal is an auto shut off. Either it remote started and stayed on for exactly 13 minutes before turning off or you press the brake pedal to turn off.

I spoiled myself because my old car had remote start and my new one doesn’t. Didn’t think it was a big deal but now it’s getting cold and I wish I had one. Also I bet this video is gonna start blowing up now that Toyota is charging a monthly fee for theirs in the 2018+ models lol.
