I have the same controller, when installed it takes a moment to figure has to weather there is a true responce , I say that there is. And has become impressive. I checked the Lexus forum and noted there are a few comments about the ECU over heating problems and failier after some considerable running time, 9 months to a year . I have disconnected the controler untill I can confirm, or even purchase a better responder without this possible issue.
There is a very noticeable response difference. You got any links to those few comments? This company has a very high industry reputation, I doubt they would get away with releasing products that will damage your car in anyway
Jonesium Designs can confirm. Having issues with my ISF and removing today. Constant CELs even if I turn the controller off. Quite a few people on the ClubLexus forums having the same issue.
nobody is posting links to these threads where people are having problem tho. I have a 2017 3is. the ECU's are different. maybe there is a trend with 2IS having issues but again nobody posted any links. and additionally is there any user error involved with the installation
yes if you use the APEXi ECO mode. I noticed better MPG on the highway. I like to drive manual in the city so I don't even bother with ECO its high throttle mode all the way.
@@JonesiumDesigns I did the correct steps but it just does not have enough of a difference to notice. after its the engine revs over about 2000RPM's i can see a slight difference but hardly noticeable... I wanted to ask you, do you have to press the button every time you start up your car or is it always working even if the light is off on the button?
@@JonesiumDesigns that sucks! I wonder why they did it like that... I really dont wanna have to press it every time i start my car so i wonder if there is any workaround to fix that. Do you find that annoying or do you only use yours for special occasions?
