To think, this was no more than a chassis and engine just a few months ago! At last the Motorhome is completely enclosed! well... kind of. But who's counting?
Looking good friend. Nice tunes in this one. Looking forward to see how you tackle weather proofing the slide-out bits. Some strong sideways rain could spoil a camping trip.
This RV is starting to look "factory made". I recently found your channel and I'm so impressed with your skills, and it's a mystery to me that you don't have more followers. Very well done. 👍
Completely agree, especially when you look at some of the older videos, I came here for the motorhome, but the Maclaren F1 is astonishing! Love this channel ❤
Hi Danie I was intrigued by the taper from front to back for the roof. That is a very good idea that`s not used here. Will you be using stringers from side to side to support the roof as that is a substantial unsupported area? Your work again is great. Mike
Thanks Mike! Yes I will be supporting the roof with stringers, also the interior panels will serve as structural bulkheads. Actually the reason why I'm working on the cab next is because I haven't finalized the layout and design 🤫
@BroughBuilt I knew you'd have it covered, I did similar on my conversion, I needed to be able to walk on my roof to install solar panels etc , the diving walls beneath made the structure super solid 👌
