Wiring continues as I start buttoning up inside the cab. I start with a couple Autometer gauges in the radio delete plate as well as a touchscreen digital dash.

You’re the reason my 68 c10 is in pieces and I thank you for it! New tie rods new shocks 2.5 inch drop springs new ball joints restored my lower control arm just as you did in a previous video. Still a ways to go but your videos gave me enough confidence to try!

Great job man. I hear ya on the holes being off a little. I mounted an ammo can in the bed for fuel fill and the bit walked on me a little. Drives me crazy, but I’m sure it will wear off after time lol.

Wow, man...you have the same Crocs as my GF. lol. Truck is coming along awesome, but man, that cluster screen looks TINY. I wonder if your dash lights turning off when the headlights are on might be because the high-beams are on? On a lot of GM cars they activate the high beams by switching a high current ground, and if there are no headlights plugged in, the ground might be going to an open circuit. Just a thought.

There's not a lot of space in that section and I wanted it in the center. I didn't investigate the gauge lights going out too much until I have all the lights in for that reason.

@@paulkc10 When you said you weren't using the Dakota Digital stuff, I was kinda expecting an Android tablet running Torque. I was kinda surprised by how little space there was in that spot when you got that far in the video. It would look funny anywhere else other than centered.

How did you hook up the ODBII port? I have a 72 with an 05 5.3L and no OBDII port.

Thank you for the informational videos So since your getting info from the edge using the OBD2 you don’t have to hook up any of the wires from the pcm that run in the truck? Except the OBD2 wire and the check engine light ? Thank you sir

@@paulkc10 Needs turbos. I've been following the whole build. I don't care for the instrument panel but the rest of the truck has turned out awesome. I've done the same to my truck except I cheated and bought new bedsides.

Maybe a trim ring around the gauges with some cool fastener hardware
