Love to see Arclight Phoenix again! It’s definitely one of my favorite cards from recent standard. Show them Phoenix isn’t dead!

Izzet will always be a thing in standard

I worry slightly about this versus traditional Phoenix with maybe one or two allegiance to make tokens. It might be more consistent in having a threat on board but might lose some of the explosive finale plays. I'd be curious to see how it plays

Phoenix tribal is fire. This is built simple to be consistent but it looks good to me.

I would love to see this deck in action. Love izzet phoenix. not sure how i feel about phoenix of ash being a phoenix. it kinda looks like a skeleton vulture on fire lol. still epic

This deck is basically my izzet deck, except for the phoenix part, lol. I'm just izzet drakes with Saheeli and such. But still hope to see this played! Although having at least 1 Niv in the SB seems good against UW Control. Not as great with Teferi being a thing, but it's still a good card.

saff this is almost the exact same decklist as regular pheonix in all honesty adding draw 2 synergies would be better no hate just doesn't seem that good

Those 4 phoenix of ashes arent instants/sorceries, and neither are the crackling drakes or royal scions. I feel like this deck is just a really weak midrange deck at worst, and a really weak phoenix deck at best. Phoenix of ashes escaped on 4 is almost the same as playing an arclight from hand, which im pretty sure is a losing game state for this deck. AFAIK arclight phoenix is just not a reliable archetype now that finale isnt supported, so I think the only way to play it is to go all in on self-mill and high roll into some turn 3-4 kills.
