Knockout strikes are dangerous. This can be a lethal technique so you must use this only when your life is under threat.
Many people think these "karate chop" pressure point knockouts are a myth. They are not. However, it's a difficult target to hit especially if your opponent has his guard up. However, in some cases an attacker may leave these targets wide open. If that is the case, it can be an instant fight ender. So it should be a part of your self defense arsenal.
Just don't be stupid and try doing this to your buddies. They will fall and the fall can lead to a fatal or debilitating head injury. This demonstration was performed with trained professionals in a controlled environment.
TLDR: The video demonstrates the effectiveness of pressure point strikes for self-defense, including how to deliver a knockout tap to the nerve and the potential dangers of striking certain nerves.
00:00 💪 Use pressure point strikes on the stomach and neck for effective self-defense.
01:10 💪 Learn how to deliver a knockout tap to the nerve with a powerful striking tool and hip and circular motions.
3. 01:49 🧠 💪 Pressure on specific nerves can control a person's body, according to the speaker's demonstration.
02:24 💥 Pressure point strikes can knock someone out by overloading their nervous system.
02:52 💥 Demonstrating a nerve strike, the speaker warns of the potential to knock someone out with the technique.
03:44 💉 Vaccines are effective in preventing COVID-19 and its variants, but it's important to warm up the injection site before getting vaccinated.
04:01 💥 Be cautious when striking stomach nerve number nine as it can result in knockout or death.
04:42 💪 Use pressure point strikes to take control or knock out an opponent.

This technique become one of the forgotten strikes which was commonly tought in military and police hand to hand and has just recently come back into the forefront. It used to be known as a good, old fashioned, "judo chop," back in the day as several styles, including Karate and Judo, used open hand/knife-hand techniques as main striking weapons. The side of the neck, back of the neck and side of the head across the temple region at an angle are all vulnerable points of attack. It's called vaso-vegal syncope, it shocks the nerve with an overload of signals which temporarily shuts down the nervous system. You can cause the same effect by jamming a finger into the eye socket beside the eye about knuckle deep. Not fun, hurts like he'll but doesn't remove their eye or cause permanent blindness though reserve that one for non family members. 😉 I don't care how strong, big and bad a guy is, there are no protective muscles or bones in your orbital socket. There are other ways to cause syncope but, those are the two best. Just be aware that as you show here, it doesn't last long when you strike the neck so use that as a way to get distance between you and an overpowering opponent before they can recoup or, be prepared to take further, debilitating action.

For those who don't know, the triple-warmer is also known as the greater auricular nerve and is in close proximity to the transverse cervical nerve and lesser occipital nerve. So that "cluster" is a triple threat point. It is also effective also due to its proximity to medullaa oblongata, primary sensor nexus, and spinal nexus of the brain. Stomach # 9 is the vagous nerve. This is in direct proximity to the regions where the spine begins transferring information into the rest of the body.

Sir, great lesson and awesome illustration. I love this technique when the threat has one in a close quarter grip or pinned to a wall as you mentioned. EXCELLENT technique for close range or in grip. In medium range I prefer a different technique (not to undermine your lesson but to help smaller stature students, women, child facing an adult, etc) 1) I teach the open palm heal strike to the chin - direct line up striking right under the chin and ‘popping’ up. It’s the only move you’ll ever need in a toe to toe confrontation. (also, with all the cameras in today’s world it’s also an easy defense bc it’s not a strike in theory.. I was just pushing the guy away and he stepped or leaned into it, confirming his aggression 2) Also in medium range, I love a similar move to the side of the neck using the side palm strike.. hand open, palm facing up and aim right under the ear. It’s a better burst of power from the elbow snap and doesn’t have to perfectly catch the nerve. The blow will jar all the major nerves in the neck, but specifically the internal jugular vein and of course the carotid artery. Threat elimination at its finest.. one and done

That whole below the ear area (which I’ve heard referred to as the brachial plexus) is very effective for knockouts. I accidentally knocked someone much bigger than I out in training one time with a forearm blow to that area, and we were told to only use 80% force.

Lol, grandfather knew this many decades ago without special training. He was small for his ancestry as he grew up in the depression with not much to eat. His prowess was beyond his "teaching"/learning. It's funny to see "teachers" espouse what he seemed to know from just plain living. Subjugating two men at the same moment was one of his feats. All the while being a backwoods farmer without much "education". To say more would invoke the wrath of our overlords who do not want common people to be aware. However, he was someone no-one wanted to harass. Taught a lot to those around him because he knew hard times. His primary lesson was to always trust in Jesus Christ.

I call bullshido. I was a street cop in a large violent city for 30 years. I trained dozens of recruits in the squad handling 911 calls. I trained FTO’s. I had cops of all types present self defense training to me. Very few of them had much street experience. As a generally accepted rule, there’s a reason they’re in the Training Unit and not working a squad. The thumb along jaw bone will sometimes work when you have 3 or 4 cops holding him down and he’s still resisting or laying on his hands. If you try this by yourself on a guy laying on the ground and simply resisting, it will rarely work. In fact Ive never seen it work. They have too much ability to squirm and get away from it. I’ve tried this and seen many cops try this on guys on the ground with several cops holding them down and it didn’t work. Guys will just grimmace and take it. Striking someone like this while standing at the most will distract them. One problem here is while you’re striking high with an extended arm you have exposed your gun for him to grab. Another problem with this training is you’re telling people that if done correctly it will result in a big man going down. Since it likely will not have that result in a fight you now have a cop that instantly loses confidence and a more pissed off suspect. If the person is hyped on adrenaline or drugs, zero chance this will affect them. Ive seen people in pain during training because of these 2 techniques but never ever saw one unable to keep fighting.

@danielhaire6677
@danielhaire6677 2 года назад
It's a situational thing. Against an opponent, if you can hit the right point and they aren't on any drugs, then yes you stand a good chance of having a high percentage chance of KOs with these techniques. These two points, even if you don't get the KO is still useful because of how they can mess with a person's equilibrium.
