Hey Jonathan, how do you create usable image sets with correct data for InstantNGP from Insta360 ONE RS 1"? Would love to collab a tutorial on that topic.
Wow!! It’s really amazing. ❤ I’ve tried instant NGP with my Insta360 1 inch RS 360 camera, but I still cannot have the quality as you shared in this video. Would you please share an tutorial regarding how to generate the images from Insta360 camera to Nerf?
Hi Jonathan, amazing vid! But you didn't say how the scenes feel like, how does it compare to being in the real environment (imagining better fps)? How does it compare to the same environment reconstructed with photogrammetry? It's interesting to know how much the artifacts and blurred elements play on the suspension of disbelief compared to the 'waxy' feel of photogrammetry/meshes.
Hello! I just discovered your channel and I'm finding it very useful as im also working on a similar project at work, where i have to reconstruct a sort of 3d model from videos pointing to a coast from the sea from a medium distance. The videos would not go over the entire scene 360 but they will cover just a portion of these angles, mostly front-facing. I ran over these Neural Fields some days ago and I tried them of linux, and I was just astonished by the performances and speed of the results. Do you think instant-nerf of nerfstudio (which also includes a spatial distortion technique for unbounded scenes -> similar to the original NeRF's NDC technique for front-facing unbounded scenes) would be a good solution for my task (even if not taking 360degrees videos I could maybe extract a sort of 2.5D model of the scene) ? Thanks in advance!
Have you figured out a way to get more detail out of the Instant-ngp results? I keep playing with settings, but they still aren't getting me a ton of detail, despite a large, crisp set of photos.
I'm also curious about it too. I can't connect with my PC and Hololens 2 properly. If you know the answer to your question or find a solution, please let me know. Thanks.
