conversations like this is what life is all about. I feel so blessed to have access to this kind of knowledge. And, I have a total crush on Andrew Huberman ❤
To the *worthwhile person* seeing this, your dream is not dead. Don’t allow the past and current pains and hurts stop and define you. You’re more than a conqueror. Rise up and put yourself together. Keep pushing your future depends on it. I wish you all the best in life ❤️.
This video was nothing less than PHENOMENAL education. This teaches more than my professors taught me as a Biology and Psychology double major. I'm hoping so many people in my life and worldwide get a hold of this video. Thank you Jay and Andrew.
What a man thinks in his heart...so he is! You are smart, you are successful, you past failures dont define you, they refine you! You are in the refiners fire, don't t give up!
Usually I don't comment. But honestly this podcast helped me so much and thank you for making a impact in this world 🌍. Mental health is real. Ever since I have been listening to you, my perception of the world has definitely changed. Our minds are just like diets ,whatever you feed it can affect you on the exterior. Thank you for posting
Andrew is one of my favorite ppl online. He is brilliant and I’ve learned a lot from him. I watch his podcast religiously. Thank you for being a great interviewer and not interrupting your guests. Many interviewers lack that skill. Thank you BOTH ♥️
I’ve been listening to Dr. Huberman for quite some time, but when you said that you could feel his heart in things… That hit the nail on the head for me. Dr. Huberman‘s love of science and sharing knowledge is what truly keeps bringing me back to learning from him.thank you for a great podcast
I believe it's best not to dwell too much on mental health or delve into complex terminologies. Instead, focus on mastering simple practices like enjoying coffee, getting sunlight, cold exposure, maintaining a balanced diet, exercising, practicing prayers and meditation, and learning how to be a hard worker and high performer according to your environment and situation. Your brain's subconscious is like a supercomputer, and if you feed it with too many negatives, you'll start to feel the pain. If you don't have specific issues, just stick to the basics and maintain a positive outlook. Remember, your thoughts can become reality. Our grandparents lived to be 120+ because they didn't overthink things.
I do admit that Huberman's talk has helped me to change the way I used to think in terms of learning new skills and working on something. I do appreciate all of his efforts to spread the knowledge he has to all of us.
It is a delight to see Dr. Huberman ever time on any podcast but Jay did a great job asking various different type of questions. I am a huge fan of Dr. Huberman and so much insight is given in this episode. Thank you for doing it.
I was just listening to Humberman's podcast yesterday and reading "Think Like a Monk" to my mom and doing the vedic personality quiz with her 😍 I'm from Mexico and I've been a huge fan of both of you for a long time now, I love what you both do and how you transmit knowledge (scientific and spiritual). I'm very passionate about both subjects and it's wonderful to see how you can integrate them to improve your health and life quality. Thank you for doing this! I think it's my favorite episode on the podcast so far. ❤️
I feel this podcast has improved my life already. I am grateful for the information that has been shared by Andrew Huberman and the platform and wonderful questions asked by Jay. I know instinctively that the early sun exposure idea is a valuable idea. I had a flashback to when I was a child and wanted to get outside in the day as soon as possible. I have gotten much removed from that in recent years. Thanks for the many insights. Rachel
Damn. I'm a fairly avid consumer of Huberman Lab already. I'm only around half an hour in, and my brain is literally buzzing as if I was plugged into the socket in the wall lol. Thanks for this. It's absolutely amazing and stimulating.
Ohh .. the last answer blew my mind. So true! So relatable as recently my mom lost her temper due to a harmless question I asked her to know her opinion and she delivered so harsh words for me that I was morally so down that I got sick for a day.
This was one of my favourite episodes you’ve done. I absolutely love Huberman, he is a genius! He has helped me learn so many helpful tools to improve my life and health. Please have him back!
Thank you Jay for being with us, and it's like holding our hands through invisible space and time, teaching us with lots of tools to shape ourselves with your insights I really want to thank you for being with us with this domain and sharing knowledge. I will watch this episode once again and will take note. Thank you for your help 😊
Thank you both. This conversation is so packed I plan on listening to it again. Your mixture of humanity, neuroscience, and heart is an elixir many of us need. Please continue your excellent work.
I'm so excited to see these two people who I look up to with great respect being together. It's when you look for whatever you can to benefit advantage in terms of personal growth and then all of a sudden come across one of them who covers almost all aspects of life in sense of health and another one who inspires with spiritual awakening. Jackpot. The best podcast of all time.🎉
I had this interview on all day, watching it in chunks just so I could digest. Two beautiful minds expressing where science meets spirituality. Fantastic episode, thank you for your giant hearts.
Amazing podcast !! Loved the conversation..can't believe the fact that we are getting to learn such a wisdom online...thank you so much ❤️ Andrew and Jay...
Fascinating and compelling conversation. Thank you for letting Andrew express fully his answers which would often trigger a deeper and or different perspective on both parts. It in tern seemed to entice your outlook and lead into different topics. A great correlation between science and spirituality, which from being an avid listener comes often in your work, but credit to the flow of the conversation to see Andrews outlook on non science practice. It captures Andrew’s sincerity when speaking on non science viewpoints and describes what you admire about him from the start of the conversation re his mind and heart connection. 🖤
That makes so much sense. I am a science student learning about business research at my uni for the first time and my brain went through a series of hardships and I felt like ducking out so badly. Now I understand it’s a part of the learning process, how intriguing!
This resonated with me. I'm 65 yrs and trying to learn Acoustic Guitar (novice, never touched one before), I LOVE it, but I get so frustrated at times that I'll set it down for days. When I pick it back up thinking surely I'll have forgotten what I've learned so far, I'm astonished to find myself able to jump back in where I left off. Frustration gone, and nothing forgotten. I'VE SLEPT.
An incredibly awesome interview! Two of my favorite teachers and men! I’ve been following their work for a few years now and I literally yelled out loud (in my living room) OMG! Dr. Andrew Huberman AND Jay Shetty!?! Oh hell yesssss! Thank you both for who you are... for making such a powerful, positive difference... and for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. Talk about a dopamine rush! Ha ha ha... Thank you 🙏
Thank you Jay and Andrew for this talk its worth than reading a book ...... I feel so blessed that I reached till this video and get to learn many things , I think this talk was blessing in disguise for me ..... thank you so much Jay for bringing this ...... these learning will help me to build better version of myself......thank you so much ♥
My first time here Jay Thank you for such a topic. Been following one of my fave scientists; admire him as well. My dream was to become a scientist, always curious and amazed about science. Now watching from Philippines.
I only learned about Andrew Huberman today and oh my goodness I wish I discovered him sooner. I can relate to you too Jay as I fiction books don't excite me but love non fiction.
When I tell other people about my dreams, I do it so that I won’t forget but mostly to get it gets out in the world where it manifests its meaning in other people in various ways and that feedback/observation is insightful to understand it from different perspectives
Wow wow wow from the moment I pressed play I couldn’t stop, I was genuinely mesmerized for the whole 1 hour and 33 minutes of this video. Amazing mind blowing information. Thank you both for sharing this wisdom and for the love you both poured out in this video, felt it. This is by far one of my most favorite videos of all time. Also if you guys develop an experiment for the mind body and soul I’ll be a pre volunteer lol 😅 thank you thank you thank you. Pure gold 🙌🏽🫶🏽✨
53:45 now it always makes sense that my grandfather told me not to expect anything but appreciate everything the true happiness is discovering the mystery of life that there's so much possibility that can happen, there's no future nor past it's always present
periods of intense focus and alertness followed by periods of deep rest that allow the nervous system to change we can focus pretty well for a duration of about 90 minutes [of course flickering in and out of focus nobody really focuses for 90 minutes straight unless they've built up that capacity or they are very interested in what they're learning] shallow naps or *nsdr* non-sleep deep breaths done within *four* hours of one of these 90 minute learning bouts can be very beneficial for accelerating learning
6:35 this video was already worthy a lot to me. No one I’ve heard put to words that feeling about reading. I felt the same way. I can devour a science books but i cant get past 2 pages of fiction. Same for movies, shows…
Thank you for sharing this Andrew and Jay! Loved how he spoke about the positive effect of sunlight on our overall mood. Nature really does have the answers/remedy for practically everything
The key is not putting the law of attraction on a pedestal. You don’t put oxygen on a pedestal, you just use it. The same with LOA. Just be chill! ~Much Love from a Law of Attraction RU-vidr💜
Big hearted Fabulous chat from both these men - gives us all some hope as I’ve been struggling with life with anxiety trying to cope with life’s big changes - ❤❤
Wow even dopamine release is a system of trust... eg we can train each day to release dopamine and energy associated with good things in order to build trust with our bodies. Trust is built in the tiniest of steps each day more often than huge dramatic moments
About the dreams, I often feel if I've had a very impactful dream and I tell people around me about it, that's when I most often am able to relate as to why I dreamt that dream.. it's like explaining it makes me understand it better, if it makes sense 😅
