*I miss our beautiful and loving daughter so much! But, if we allow, God uses all life experiences for good: to equip and bring us closer to him! Dear reader Jesus says, that because of wars, rumors of wars, "signs in the sun, moon, stars, and upon the earth distress of nations with perplexity: the sea and waves roaring" people's hearts will fail them because of things coming and fear death! (Luke 21: 25-26) I am 73 years of age and due to health issues will soon succomb to the degeneration of this flesh. I will leave this corruptible body behind as the spirit will return incorruptible to my true home and God who made it. (1Pe 1:23) (Hallelujah). (Ecc 12:7) Is God calling you home, dear listener? Only you can answer this question! I believe our loving and faithful Creator is calling you and has put you here, at this moment, for His purposes! Through His breath of life, you have received conscience: with knowledge of good and evil. I know your conscience has been pricked because of the questions you are asking, even now! We cannot understand, by the reasoning of intelligence, the sovereign and supernatural acts of God. Those whom come to Him must come to him by faith for it is written "without faith it is impossible to please God. (Heb 11:6) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." (John 4:23-24) We cannot receive, nor comprehend, the actions (initiatives) and desires of Father God, our Creator, without spiritual discernment of His Truth: being born again. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saves us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit;" (Tit 3:5) Jesus says, "I am the way (to God) truth (of God) and life (of God) no man comes unto the Father but by Me"" (John 14:6) We did not ask to be born here on this fallen (corrupted) world! Our flesh and sin nature is inherited from the first Adam, a living soul. Through procreation, by whatever means, we are living souls and now must suffer death in these bodies but by our own sin. (Rom 5:12, Deu 24:16) But through the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Messiah of Nazareth, the "Lamb of God" without blemish, God has taken away the sin of the world. (John 1:29) "Sin has reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord." (Rom 5:21) Jesus has defeated death and the grave and now by grace and through faith in His precious shed and redeeming blood are we saved! (Eph 2:8) Jesus Messiah of Nazareth is the last Adam and quickening Spirit given us by our loving Creator God! (1Co 15:45) Now, a faithful Creator is giving us a choice between life through Him or death by suicide, as committed by the first Adam; our choice! The Spirit of Yahweh's mind, heart, and eternal Spirit can only be accessed and received by His grace and through our faith, in the last Adam, Jesus Messiah of Nazareth! Through His Word, infused with the Holy Spirit of a loving, righteous, and faithful Creator, we hear and see the need for His forgiveness of our sins of unbelief! "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Rom 3:23) All sin is unbelief in the existence, commands, and promises of heavenly Father! Forgiveness of sin comes only by His grace through our faith. Faith is our choice in obedience to His call! "The mystery of faith is held in a pure conscience" (1Ti 3:9) "Not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:" (1Pe 3:21) This is our understanding of renewal comes through regeneration by the Holy Spirit: a new life of obedience through faith in Jesus! (Rom 1:5-6) Jesus answered and said unto Nicodemus, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3) All of us who believe, must "work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure." (Phl 2:12-13) Being born again of Yahweh's Spirit means we will never die or suffer eternal damnation of soul and spirit. Again, our choice! Jesus tells us, "As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man was lifted up.That whosoever believes in Me should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." (John 3: 15-23) For all of you loving your children, families, and friends and with ears to hear this Gospel and good news, do not hesitate please choose life! "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:" (Deu 30:19) Amen Heart Enslaved We're not to know God's works to be But share His grace with humanity Each day I grow and understand His sorrow and suffering for sinful man Sin beats a path till its road is paved A highway of destruction to a heart enslaved How sad for those who will not see His grace cleanse their iniquity (Acts 1:7)

“Creativity is an offering to God. If you’re making an offering to God, you’re not thinking ‘Oh, what’s the budget’? It’s a higher vibration. We’re making the best we can make, to the best of our ability, out of love and devotion” As a fellow spiritual creative, this spoke to me on so many levels! Take a moment now to sense whether you are carrying any guilt associated with the habits you are trying to cultivate. Oftentimes people beat themselves up for their stops and starts, or not achieving things fast enough. Take a deep breath and realize there is no need for misplaced anger any longer. Here, there is no self-loathing, no bad grades. Everyone goes at their own pace, taking tiny steps and celebrating each one.

Pausing during creation and allowing distraction is like a palette cleanse during a meal. It's actually more like a reset to what was my intention 10 minutes or 10 hours ago? Is where I'm going the real distraction? Pausing to eat, walk even sleep allows those creative parts to focus while I chew or stride subconsciously and with more and faster freedom. A good distraction also allows me to attend to my body which can interfere with flow when it isn't being refreshed! 🙏✍

We need so much more of this type of thinking in our world. It would be great if the US Government would hire Rick as an advisor to help them get back to working well together (crazy, but one can dream). Would help

Fascinating interview! I love Rick's answer to Jay's question at 01:05:31 What is the best way to inspire someone? He basically says instead of telling people what to do, since people don't like being told what to do, the best way is to walk your talk, lead by example.

Omg yes we are loved soo much. And i love you all soo very much. I'm to the point in the last few months that I get very emotional knowing that there's so much love in this world just getting ready to be on least that it makes me almost cry does that sound strange? Because I don't think I've ever been that happy to where I could just break down crying because of my love for Humanity and knowing that we're not giving up I love you all so much

Rick Rubin is my twin experience in this life. Different journey on the same frequency. Coming to the same understanding of the world as we know it and beyond. Seeking no outside validation Searching for more creativity in efforts to serve humanity to the best of our ability because it is our purpose And yours To serve humanity with your true talents To show the world who YOU truly are. To share YOUR experience as each of us has one. You are more than who you are now So So Much more Thank you for sharing this video 🙏

The amount of mutual respect, appreciation and love these two had shared during the podcast goes through the vibration of their voices, their chosen words and expressions. It was a delight to hear. And I totally resonate with Jay: Rick's book is one of a kind. I'm savoring this book, reading every word and marinating on every thought. That's one of the best books I have ever read by far. Rick's writing is completely honest to who he is, there's no shape or form, and still everything he wrote is completely down to earth as it honors every aspect of the human being's essence, which is creativity, openeness and love. I wish I could meet Rick in person one day. Funny fact is that if that happen to come true, I'm sure we'll sit in silence, close our eyes and just be. 🙏🏼❤️ Much gratitude for sharing such beautiful and deep wisdom. 🇧🇷🙏🏼💎

Most of the things we do in life are just to be accepted or belong somewhere, our brain keeps telling us to do this so that people will love it, and that kinda gives us a sense of acceptance. We crave acceptance from others because we haven't accepted ourselves. All our life we cater to other people, we focus on other people but the answer to our life lies within us. But we rarely see within us. Once we learn to accept ourselves, we will never crave acceptance from others and at that moment our life will change forever! Self-acceptance = simple life!

The power of nature is what all art strives to be. The more we can get in tune with the harmony of the planet, the more our art can benefit from that relationship. Rick Rubin
@AnnTsungMD

Absolutely! Nature has always been a tremendous source of inspiration for artists throughout history. Its beauty, complexity, and harmony provide an endless wellspring of ideas and emotions. When we connect with nature, we tap into something greater than ourselves, and that connection often finds its way into our artistic expressions. By immersing ourselves in the natural world, observing its patterns, colors, and rhythms, we can deepen our understanding of the world and infuse our art with a sense of authenticity and resonance. The power of nature indeed serves as a guiding force for artists, allowing their work to reflect the awe and wonder that nature inspires.

When it comes to dreams I feel that is also part of your intuition. I broke the knuckle of my pinky. It’s called it a boxers break because it is common amongst boxers. I was just going to wrap it the way boxers. Yet everyone around me insisted I go to a surgeon. He wanted to do surgery. I was hesitant yet I agreed because of who I considered my peers. The night before surgery I had a dream not to go through the surgery. I ignored it and swallowed my fears. Had the surgery. My body rejected the metal pins and pushed one out. I then developed regional pain syndrome. A year later I have through hard work have recovered movement in my index and middle finger. I will never abandon my instincts again.

The substance of the book The Creative Act is framed and expressed in such a way that it has served to help me reflect on my existence on a broader scale. For me, his book cuts to the core of a sentient existence. If the desire is to grow as a sentient being, then this is how to do it. Creativity is an expression of life’s force which favors growth. His book feels like a Bible on the art of intentional existence. It is the opposite of a “manual” because it is not narrowly limiting or restricting. Rather, he recognizes certain principles that are necessary to take an event from an incidental to intentional state sufficient to enable curation. He speaks about things in elemental form and allows us to interpret it from whatever stage in life or lens we are wearing at that moment. His book almost reads like a tarot card book lol. It connects beyond the cerebral. He understands that in order to have effective on the creative soul, his book needs to connect beyond the mind and closer to our spirituality and intuition. I think the way he framed the book, which feels much like a tarot card book, achieves this effect.

This is because Tarot cards are a way of allowing a person to create their own story through the symbols within them. If they are used rightly, they will empower the individual to find solutions and answers by simply talking through their own interpretation of the meaning they see in the cards. ❤

I love this interview! Creativity is sort of a magical thing because of how random and elusive it can be. A "block" in creativity is unfortunately more the norm than the exception, and if we could somehow know exactly what circimstances we need (at any particular period of time) to re-stimulate our creative energy, we could perhaps get ourselves out of a creative doldrum very quickly. But we seldom know exactly what we need!

Be aware, this is the code of things... addition, multiplication or subtraction, devision etc... are just the natural outcome of it: there is just an "IF" 0 if 1, 1if 0, 0 if 0, 1 if 1 so in conclusion there is none bigger than the one who wrote the code for all of this we are located in, everything that is within. It is to the mercy of god to reach understanding, but logic is a very fundamental part of a feeling. What more natural, essential logic than the command: "if" is there? Rick Rubin knows also with his heart and it is wonderful of him to spread his thoughts and also teach. Very good interview!
