Traded my Porsche in on a champ white FL5. Couldn't be happier. I prefer the R to the S because it gives me more of a 90s nostalgic feel with the red carpet and seats, not to mention the champ white. Both great cars, it's nice to have the option between track and luxury. Great video.

Finally someone mirrors what I've been saying about the shifter feel between the Type R and Type S lol and everyone thought I was crazy when I said that initially lol.Thanks for keeping it all the way real brother Que, you pretty much mirrored everything I said when I reviewed these vehicles back to back and you were really spot on about the driver feel about both vehicles, also those people that said you should get a bike instead of the Miata probably don't like you lol, you made the right choice fam, great video!

If the CTR had heated seats, parking sensors and a little more sound dampening, it could be the winner for me. But all those little features made me go with the ITS, even at MSRP vs MSRP due to how I use the car. Just feels like a less compromised daily. Auto wipers, HUD, ELS sound system (make sure you enable the surround sound option because otherwise you won’t have your overhead speakers working), exhaust, more torquey tune-it all adds up to a more complete package without compromising much on the platform’s strengths.

I have a 2023 RR FL5. Its FBO Phearable Stage 2 tune. Its absolutely PERFECT! Just the right amount of power, handles like a fucking dream and sounds pretty damn good with the AWE touring exhaust, Rv6 downpipe & PRL intake. I also have the Type S burble tune too so not missing out on the feature anymore. And yes the seats are one of my favorite things about the car, they feel incredible and look great too. I'll never sell this car

Good comparison. I’m team Type R because of the rawness of the car. The Type S looks amazing and I agree would make a better daily. The CTR though brings me back to the basics of the older Type Rs. Love both of these cars! Honda killed it with both

Gostei do que vc falou, reflete bem como penso. Tenho um Type R aqui no Brasil. Muitas pessoas falam que deveria comprar carros mais potentes e rápido em linha reta como Audi rs3 ou Mercedes a35, mas a experiência em conduzir um carro bom em curvas e com câmbio manual não tem coisa melhor para se divertir !!

Great video, man. I’ve owned both and enjoyed both, but there are definitely differences. Right now the CTR is the one I’ve settled on. Did you notice any difference in the pumped in fake engine noise between the two cars?

The CTR definitely had a lot of pumped in noises. And it’s configurable. I don’t notice it in the ITS.

@@QueTheChaotic To me, when you’re getting on it, the ITS seemed to have a more natural fake engine sound. The CTR is just buzzy and more like a video game or something. Could be my imagination, I haven’t driven them back to back, and I got rid of my ITS back in November. But when I drive the CTR hard I could swear to myself that the ITS sounded better.

Nice review. I like the style of the type r more and it seems like the more special car. The Type S sounds better. Both are great, barely see them around here in NY. I have an accord 2.0 and a passport.

drove the ITS and it didn't really speak to me. Suspension was great, exterior looks like it's trying too hard, seats not great. Once I sat in the CTS, I knew this was the car for me.

Great comparison man! I was in the market for a Type R as well but the list of people who have factory new allocations exceeds how long they're going to produce this car and the markups on the used market are more expensive than my ITS was brand new so I was in the same predicament as you were, Integra was truly the only option even though I would've preferred the Type R. I can appreciate the HUD, sound system, softer suspension and burble tune on my Integra though vs the very muted Type R and down the road I'm considering swapping out the stock seats for some heated Recaro's that are similar to the Type R seats so in the long term I feel like I made the right choice.

Track and streets focused type R vs streets focused and Track capable type S. Choose and enjoy each for what they are. Comparison often only takes some things in consideration, however, Comparison between Allen Iverson and Michael Jordan has similarities like both great basketball players and, both can score high numbers, etc. We also know size differences, skill delivery differences, etc.

Both cars are great but the difference between the two cars is different tune engine sound and the suspension so who ever buys these two cars can’t go wrong with either. This is my fact opinion if I want to buy it the type S will be the best because I am not going na track my car more than my daily drive and that doesn’t mean I can’t take the type s in to the track, yes I can but the type r is good for the track but my feeling not good in daily life. So I will go for the type S for sure. Type r still great car lol don’t get me wrong.

Honestly I was bout to get the R but with the dealer charging a markup I just thought why not put that markup into a better car? At 45k+ some things like heated seats and parking sensors are table stakes.

@@LateNightDateNight the car isn’t dangerous but I’m staying being that stiff it’s easily to bounce in a turn and then try to correct then the bump messes you up. It’s hard to explain but I’ve had it happen before. It’s not worth it. Integra type s is better for me but I’m not getting anything any time soon.
