If he was smart (though most criminals are dumb) he would have just sat in the back seat with his hands up and waited for the car to be cleared. Running from the scene could be his only charge since he wasn’t driving.

@@jcarp8471 be hard to prove, even with the video. The odd thing is the guy they DID catch was the front passenger and they charged him with theft by receiving? Odd charge to tack on when they got him for an automatic weapon. (and a big enough bond that he ain't getting released)

@@redwolfexr I wish criminals in FL got bonds like that... had a guy not long ago flee from FHP in a stolen truck and then get into a shootout. Caught multiple attempted murder charges and they slapped him with his buddies' murder (even though a cop got him) on top of fleeing, firearm as a felon, and felony possessions for cocaine w intent to sell...Yet he got out on bond 3 days later.

I could not agree with you more sir! When the chase ended that is all I could think about was how calm, cool and collected that officer was, he was extremely professional and also compasionate the way he treated the suspect with dignity and respect, which is exactly what we as Americans expect from our law enforcement officials, but rarely see. He didn't escalate the situation in any way and used minimal force In order to apprehend the suspect, no verbal abuse or unnecessary use of force. This footage should be used all over the country to educate and train current and future members of law enforcement on how to properly conduct an arrest with professionalism while also maintaining a level head using minimal force and treating the suspect with dignity and respect. Hats off to this officer he is a reaL class act, he definitely earned my respect with this video!

Since they're on camera and it was posted online you would expect it.

@@hendo337 There are plenty of instances where the police don’t conduct themselves properly despite being recorded and posted online. The truth is, police misconduct videos posted online are far more prevalent than videos posted of police handling matters correctly. That being said, seeing a video like this is not to be expected. The last thing on these officers minds during this arrest was the thought that a video would be posted online. Trying to diminish their integrity by suggesting their behavior was a result of not wanting to be caught doing wrong rather than acting on a good moral position is petty and wrong.

Thanks for sharing it and I couldn't agree more. They were serious but calm and lighthearted during the chase, and his care in calming one of the perps down and even empathizing with them, "That was a bit scary," and asking "you hot? I'll crank up the a/c for ya" was awesome. To be that calm and composed during the situation is beyond impressive.

Nah he got caught by another trooper. It's in another video released by LRHN. Another trooper pulled up as he hesitated next to the Tahoe's back doors. Then he runs and the trooper gets out and chases him down.. the next image is a bystander video of dude being perp walked back to the Charger
