Why is passenger treated like the driver in these situations? Is it cause u don’t know what he’s got? Gun or weapon? Can passenger get charged in a case like this?

Officer safety, unknown if they have any weapons, the passenger may not get any driving charges, but there may be something else going on, there may be a warrant out for them, or they may of been a participant on a crime, if they run on foot they are fleeing and resisting arrest.

The parents are at fault for buying that 1st young man that type of car.

I would never buy my kids a luxury or muscle car. That ish don't mix. I know for sure Allstate don't insure teenagers on muscle or luxury vehicles

I'm a truck driver, I enjoy helping the state troopers of any state I go through when they need it. I will gladly use my truck and trailer as a roadblock should they need it. Just don't get it. Why try to outrun a cop. 1. 90+% chance you wont outrun a radio. 2. It makes it a LOT worse. There's nothing worse than a pissed off cop. Well. Other than ur ma or dad lol. That was a respectful, textbook arrest after a high speed pursuit…everyone kept their composure, treated the perpetrators with the respect the officers received! No one was snatched out of the vehicle by officers unable to control their adrenaline or their professionalism! THIS SHOULD BE THE STANDARD.

I dont know about The Byrdman and all that, but i can say this. I ran from the law when i was 18, ran from them for 2 1/2 hours, they couldnt catch me, and they couldnt out drive me either. Here in the Appalachian mountains of East Tennessee, the young men of my generation, last of the Baby Boomers, were driving straight shift pick up trucks by the time we were 12 or 13, by the time we got our drivers license we could drive anything with a steering wheel. The twisting turning steep mountain roads here are the ultimate training ground for driving fast, so thats we all did. Some would be better than others at it, but we would deliberatly blow past a cop just to get them to chase us from time to time. Because if you could get a reputation for being able to outrun the law, you could usually convince somebody to let you haul shine!

That’s what makes him as good behind the wheel as he is .. he is just out for a drive . Who cares that it’s at 130 mph. Every cop shop in the country should study this officer. Even when they finally catch who they want . Everyone is still so jacked up and that adrenaline is pumpin!!! Except him he immediately goes right back to calm and is actually very respectful to the detainees. Does anything get under this guys skin or is he really just an incredible good hearted dude legit !!
