I told a dream character that I saw in a window that he was part of my dream. At first he didn't believe me but ...after a while he pulled out a frickin machine gun and started shooting me and all the other people in the room joined 😂 I woke up dying of laughter
I've had a couple dreams where dream characters would be aware that I know I am dreaming and try and force me to forget about it by stealing control. It's kinda freaky.
you should really try it, but be careful. last night i told a dream character they were dreaming and he threatened to kill me, then everyone started chasing me.. it was soooo scary and now i'm scared to lucid dream.......
Bad idea. As a lucid dreamer, when I confront the characters about the reality of our interaction and I mention "oh this is just a dream" they become very confused, creepy, irritated, etc. That immediately turns the dream into a nightmare. You're warned.
@@champagnesupernova4081 Same thing happened to me a while back. I was in a neighborhood, when I realized I was dreaming I started telling people who were near me that this is all a dream. They all have the same confused reaction as I told them they weren't real and they kept denying my explanation...even questioning my reasoning. I ended up waking up, I read somewhere if you tell dream characters you are awake that alerts your brain to wake you up because I woke up soon after that. You can try convincing them, but that's like a random person on the street coming up to you and telling you that you don't exist lol
@@changedmynamebcyallwouldnt.. you might of felt that they were against you since they had different beliefs from you and that may have triggered a sense of danger in your mind. Maybe you feel this way towards others who have opposite point of views? Maybe that they won't like you or they will treat you different
I convinced someone they were dreaming in a dream. They then disappeared. Like they woke up but since I was actually dreaming the person just disappeared. It was funny.
I've only ever achieved layer 1 lucid dreaming but bloody hell is was weird: So in my dream I am a train conductor and my train can go anywhere without tracks, I eventually come across a forest with massive trees and after a while of being there, a T-rex begins chasing me. I atempt to get away but I lose control of the train which plumets off a cliff along with me. I then wake up in a morgue, so I guess I died, and out side I find Nick Fury toasting marsh mellows on a campfire, he tells ne I'm dreaming and then I say 'oh yeah, of course I am' and wake up...
As I reallise I was dreaming I start walking full of joy and thinking I can go everywere and do what I feel like and know so many new things. I was in the huge school or university, empty actually, and saw this woman cleaning a classroom and very politly I asked her: «As I know I'm dreaming what's about you? Are you part of it, or do you exist anywere else?» She smiled like a nun, she was all white dressed, with veil covering the hair, and went on in her cleaning thing. There was this teacher, organizing his books and stuff and I went to him, and told him the same. I'm dreaming, I ask the cleaning lady if she's for real or if I made her up, as everyting around us, so my question for you is the same. The man smile a big warm smile, and before he turned his back to me, leaving the classeroom, he just said: «Oh that's not important at all». And everything vanished.
lolol had a lucid dream last night, which was my first one ever, I asked some lady "you know you're part of my dream?" and she went "no thats just silly" ._.. I dont know what layer i was though because i could fly...
That was and still is the story of my dream life. But I try not to just play in my dreams now. I try to really explore and look for answers to everything. Because in the waking world we're extremely cut off from everything and being lucid in dreams is the only way to tap into profound experiences with potential answers.
I'VE BEEN CONVINCED BY A DREAM CHARACTER WHEN I WAS FIVE. and i still remember the dream ha. It was a anthropromorphic dog and he said, "you know you're dreaming right?" and it was amazing. It was my first aware-dream I think.
me and my friend both have lucid dreams, and your story reminded my of when I convinced him we were both the dreamers, and it felt like I was struggling to stay in the lucid dream.
+Arvydas Andrius It'd be funny if you lost control and actually thought you were a dream character, and then the other guy goes off and does lucid dream stuff XD
When you tell a Dream character, that they are part of your dream it violates the laws of the Dream universe that's why we wake up quickly or slip into an other dream with the shaky vibrating transitions.
In Richard Linklater's movie Waking Life, one of the dream characters the main character encounters ends his segment by saying, "To realize you are a character in another person's dream, is self awareness." I try to take this line into account every time I am presented with the chance to help someone's mental health.
As soon as you said the part about what if this is all one big dream and i got done laughing at the soundeffects, I immediately had to open my shades and look outside... what if.
I've recently not had lucid dreams but I had my first and second lucid dreams weeks ago .. miss them, but I've had vivid dreams quite recently and recorded them. Thank you for sharing your content mate, so good! :)
I would like to say i love your videos. I am trying to lucid dream, i have always been fascinated by these type of things. Only a few months ago it became known to me that this kind of stuff was REAL. I believe that dreaming is a very spiritual thing, that through dreams we will become familiar with our real self. You have earned another subscriber.
I've been watching your channel for hours now, and it's beyond incredible and inspiring. This may be the most interesting set of videos I've ever seen on youtube. But I was wondering...Have you ever considered doing a long video, or maybe a series, in which you tell your story? A "somnonautic history," if you will? It just seems so unique and rare to me that someone could have such a handle on his subconscious. How did all of this come about? All the best, Jim in New Orleans, LA
I've had shared dreams with my mother of all people. We are both in a house and we are being chased by lions or tigers and we both have to hide on top of wardrobes or in the loft. We always have this dream on the same night but live nowhere near each other!
Giz, could you give me some insight into what an average day for you is like? Do you try to constantly do reality checks throughout the day, if so how many would you say you do per day? Or are you just always looking for dream signs and thinking about which reality you're in?
It's not only possible but it happens quite a bit if you let it be so, the reason I know this is because I've had remarkably vivid lucid dreams that I barely remembered in the morning and even then it required quite a bit of focus... should my attention vanish for a moment and it would be gone. I believe this is where you get when you develop skill but then don't continuously hone it, be aware, recall is like a muscle to be constantly stimulated. No pun intended :P
TOP 10 THINGS I CAN MOSTLY ALWAYS DO IN A DREAM 1. feel pain 2. kill myself and wake up 3. talk to people in my dreams even nightmares 4.Know that im dreaming 5 ask the people in my dream to help me wake up 6 change the place that im at when ever i want 7 lol if the nightmare has just started i just be like "oh hell no not this dream again" than BAM i wake up. 8 all my dreams that i have now i have already hade7/9 years ago' 9 mostly in nightmares i cant talk 10 THIS IS THE BEST ONE Ok so i can do 1 dream that takes 2 weeks to compleate. A bit like a movie or a book type of thing but it's a dream and im the main lead! after the long "movie" i write it all down and make it into a story and take it to school. Alll this makes me think do i ALWAYS have Lucid dreams? Why does this happen to me. I can remember the dreams from 7/9 years ago still. i can also go for months without have a dream but than after that month i have a sh** tone of dreams. PLEAS EEXPLAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks.
Some times dream characters, don´t talk, they simply won´t answer any of my questions. ¿have you experienced something like that? how do you solv this?
daniel nahum I agree!! They don’t respond just stare at you? That’s when I conclude that their just characters but not a conscious being, but who knows
@@Ariel737 it's because you are'nt experienced enough to actually talk to them..I struggled with the same when I was in my early lucid dreaming days...try calling them or waving at them also its ur lucid dream so u can actually be positive and expect them to talk..trust me it works lol
Wait if they don't lucid dream and we have about 5 to 7 dreams a night and we only remember about 3 of them how do you know that the one where you told her she was dreaming was one that she didn't remember basically maybe the dream with you in it she forgot instantly?!?? Mind = BLOWNFIRMFNCJNDNCHDUND
Hey there Giz, Your videos have been my daily viewing recently after my new interest in lucid dreaming arose. Did you publish your book? It sounds like a book I need. Where can I find it? Incidentally. (and not to sound like a uni lecturer marking papers - cause I'm not) does it have reference and all that good stuff. I sorta want the scientific perspective on it as well as your take. Your videos are awesome, funny, useful and comedy all at the same time. Genius! Thanks.
2:40 I'm a year behind you but I had that same thought. It seems that there are so many clues leading to the possibility and dreams are one. When you're not lucid, you buy into everything that's going on no matter how random or bizarre and it's not until you awaken that you realize it was a dream and you come to your normal senses. Question - did you get your layer info from Reece Jones?
Hey Giz, I had a false awkening today. I was really excited because it felt like I am getting a bit closer to lucidity. :D I actually for the first time asked myself If I was dreaming. But yea hopefully next dream I might do it. Happy dreamin'!!
It may have been a shared dream but on a different stage to hers, since she might have woken up when you woke up and went back to sleep then forgot that part of her dream. Maybe your practice on lucid dreaming aloud you to remember it, but also this could be another realm....
I know exactly what you mean, I had the same sort of experience a few months ago, In my dream I suddenly said to myself that this has to be a dream. I did the finger through hand reality check and my hands were really stretchy, I stayed very calm and decided to try some stuff out but when I wanted to try things I couldn't control the dream anymore and just like you my sight was very hazy and distorted. When I woke up the first thing on my mind was that it was a dream about lucid dreaming.
hey ive had 2-3 lucid dreams but then they stopped and i havent had any lucid dreams for more than a year now can there be an end to it? i never tried the mild or wild techniques but do you think i have to?
When I noticed that I'm dreaming and I say something like "Oh, I'm dreaming" I don't even get excited and if I try to move just a little bit I can feel how I'm starting to wake up. :((
I love when you said that maybe we were all part of one same consciousness. I was like "Woah, that's interesting ! That's mindblowing !" And then your brain exploded ! x)
One time I had a dream where I was at a party (I don't normally go to parties btw) and I saw some characters from Kingdom Hearts. I talked to some about things I can't remember. Recently I had another dream where I saw fictional characters, except I didn't talk to them and just watched some drama happen between them, and I was just standing there...
Just had a recurring dream, but this time I *thought* I went lucid. I started to lose the world a few times but I managed to stay, I made the sun bigger/smaller, cast spells, levitated objects, and flew, then I *thought* I woke up, but eventually I really did wake up. Either I had a dream that I was lucid dreaming, or I had some crazy Inception stuff where I went lucid in a dream within a dream. I could've sworn it was real though, everything was so clear and vivid unlike most of my dreams. Hm..
For some reason when i die in my dream i go through a rainbow tunnel to respawn but sometimes i just wake up when i die with my heart beating loud and in my dreams i try to talk in my dreams but i cant and also i sometimes have lucid dreams which also means i choose when to wake up
I have a particular character that appears alot in my dreams but only dreams that Im under alot of stress or under attack. On occasion I have had to stop them from trying to kill someone who was distressing me. Or they just appear and comfort me if i'm crying.
I remember having a dream with my two best friends inside it, and after realizing I was lucid dreaming I told them I was. Needless to say, they told me I wasn't dreaming, even though I knew I was and after having no control of my lucid dream I gave up and accepted it as reality. Waking up from that mindfucked me xD
Yeah I had this lucid dream that was set in Autumn. The leaves were actually more golden and orange. I told the subconscious projection of my older sister that she was dreaming and she said "I don't know what you're talking about" and was walking away. In another lucid dream, I told a projection of my subconscious in a conversation that he was dreaming. His reaction was like "What? Dude I don't know what you're talking about.". They always say that to me. "I don't know what you're talking about."
I didn't know there was layers of dreams like in inception. Holy shit balls. I'm going to try and lucid dream tonight to talk to my subconscious. I'm really fascinated by this.
I was in a shop and there were at least 20 dream characters shopping. I told one of the dream characters that they were in a dream and right as I did that they all slowly turned towards me and stared at me in the eyes. It quickly turned from a good dream to a nightmare and then I woke up. So yeah... never doing that again.
Hey giz I'm trying really hard to be cool once I've realized that I'm dreaming in order to Lucid dream mainly in order to ask my subconscious what my dream job/what i should study for Uni. Do u think I will receive an answer that suits me well or that it might be a waste of time?
i some times realyse that i am dreaming and start flying etc i go crazy, but is very hard to realise when youre dreaming, you must be alert to certain patterns while dreaming
If you get stuck in a lucid dream, does it affect how long it takes for you to wake up? Like... if you're in a lucid dream and you want to wake up, but you're stuck there for a bit, would it be a few more minutes or even an hour or so after?
hey Giz, can you answer my question? when I realize that I'm dreaming I am really stupid, instead of touching my surroundings, or do a few reality checks, I just take of flying and forget that I was actually dreaming and then after 5 seconds I wake up, or, maybe, I have a false awakening. Do you have any tips to not make that happen.
I had a dream very similar, in which I was walking to the bus stop in my city center and there was a picnic table, that looked like it had been picked out of a random festival. May be it has something to do with the horror of First buses, and crowded bus stops.
Haha I had a dream a while back where I went into an office building and applied for health insurance. I did paperwork fora good 10 min. Gotta be the lamest dream in the world. Unfortunately I remember it extremely vividly.
Last night i realized (Without doing WILD or anything) that i am dreaming (I think its called DILD) and what happened was that the moment when i did a RC and became luzid ALL of the dream characters disappeared instantly and i couldn't get them back ? Do you have any tips if that happens ?
@itisI1205 It is possible, but the time dont go slower like in inception. You can simply dream that you're dreaming and so on. In false awakenings is it frustrating if you have dreams in dreams.
i had an awesome lucid dream i think i was mlayer 4 but forgot that i could teleport and stuff but anyway i manifested some characters i wanted to meet and i did but i forgot that i could teleport so i had to fimd them by walking and looking around and for some reason the other dream characters wanted to hurt the ones i wanted to meet but anyway i met them it felt so real even though i knew i was dreaming and it didnt feel like talking to myself at all, it was AWESOME! i got to go into minecraft
Telling people they are in a dream is pointless.
Yesterday i had a lucid dream where i talked with my best friend, and i asked him "What do you think, am i crazy?" his response was "i dont know you tell me, youre the one talking to yourself...". I laughed like an idiot because i realised that my own mind is making fun of me, he watched me with a confused face...
Hey giz i just wanted to know if you do reality checks because i have stoped doing them and i still have lucid dreams i think its a dild because i just become aware because i see sonething weird in my dream so do you ? Thanks and love the videos keep it up. Lol
i keep on giving up on lucid dreaming i don't know why, iv had 2 level 1 lucid dreams, and 2 level 2 lucid dreams, did you have this problem when you started, note iv done this off and on for about a year or so
