Another great video! Super cool to see you talk about Jeanette Rankin. She was actually the first woman to serve in Congress and also voted against declaring war on Germany during WWI. If I remember correctly, her reasoning for voting against declaring war on Japan was that as a woman, she could not go to war, so she didn't feel comfortable sending men off to war.

I find the storey on the Brodie unlikely as was Verdun not a French battle rather than a British one?

That's why I always say buy the item not the story. Maybe they got the info mixed up over time. Maybe it is kinds farfetched. But still thankful to have it in the collection.
