If you’re going nuts trying to turn off your interior lights in your jeep watch this one minute video. Thanks to Sam at the ACD auto center. I made a shorter version of what he said
You saved my life today! Thought I was going to drive the car off a cliff trying to figure out what door is still open when there was NO door open. Haha Thank you!!
@@Backlash00z89 Me too this morning. After opening and shutting every door 5 times and wondering how much this was going to cost, I came here. Duh...lol
I work in a roadside assistance despatch call centre. This helped out a customer straight away. Both her and I thank you for posting this clip. Cheers most graciously
Thanks for the quick solution! I went straight to RU-vid after having "help" from a toddler cleaning the interior of my car and the dome lights were on afterwards.
I bought a salvage roll over Jeep. Fixed everything and I was about to tear apart the light thinking the dome light switch was in op. Thanks so much for your vid!
Thank you for making this video. I had this problem and we pulled out the light bulbs (one broke). Then it happened again with the lights that light up by your feet. This video saved me from going bat shit crazy again !
You rock man!! Worked perfectly. Thank you spent 20 mins messing with them. Thought I was gonna have to drive with them on at night on my whole drive!! You’ve helped me tremendously. Thank you again!
THANK YOU. Just saved me a trip to Jeep. Last thing I felt like doing today. I was in no mood for this and lo and behold YES! That knob I played with... I just didn't notice the lights until I got home. I ALMOST had a melt down but YOU good sir posted this video. It was a rough day, not that easy to rile me but today- was not the day...
I’ve figured it out for the correct type of Jeep for lights that won’t turn off! We don’t have the knob on our turn signal like other Jeeps. If they’re not turning off with the buttons, there is a wheel dial right next to the headlight controls that we have on “Always on”. If you mess with it you will be able to turn the lights off. Just make sure it’s not your headlights!
Appreciate you sir. Had 09' for 2 years thought the lights were on a timer untit today. I almost lost it🤣 after I got a case of water and the lights wouldn't turn off. Thanks
Yo, I love the Internet. I literally was getting ready to take it to the dealer thinking I’m about to pay hundreds in electrical repair plate as soon as I even touched that switch one section back it’s turned right off. Thank you thank you thank you. I used to hate having to put my right blinker on to turn it off. Lol.
📢 thank you thank you thank you brother I just bought a Jeep Wrangler and I didn't know how to turn the lights off and I just looked up on RU-vid and there you were thank you so much God bless you you do not know how important your video is because I didn't know what to do it is annoying and I was afraid I was worried about my battery what die dying as well so thank you so much you are awesome!!!!!
Yep. Happened to me the other night and the owners manual does not mention it in the interior lights section. I used my pocket knife to remove all the overhead dome light lens and bulbs for the drive home to figure it out later.
Just got my first JL and the kids are as excited as I am, so they are pressing every button in the car. Couldn’t figure what they touched to make the lights stayed on an entire 2hr trip an evening.
If the rear light stays on after you turn the stalk switch OFF, push the lense to turn it off. It's so rear seat passengers can turn it on/off without bothering the driver. Sometimes it gets bumped and stays on regardless of the stalk switch.
Love my 2016 jeep, they got to _get the word JEEP back in front of the jeep. It's so cool when the car in front of you looks through their rear view mirror and see the word JEEP. IT'S A VERY STRONG STATEMENT!
