Hi friend !!! very happy to see the resurrection of 424. It is wonderful to hear how that engine sounds, and the nobility with which it responded to the love you gave it. I hope now to see your work in the field, and on the slopes that you have mentioned that are in your field. Great, and it doesn't need computer programs to work, nor can anyone stop you from a distance if you don't pay for its "special" maintenance... I guess you'll understand what I mean... those machines so modern bright green color..... I think this is all, I leave my greetings to you and your girls, and I wait for next saturday for a new video
She Sounds Good it took awhile for my to get it started it sat in shed for 20+ years and hopefully soon it will be at tractor shows with fresh paint and decals on it.
I own a 1969 ih 2444 which is the same thing as the 424 but the lo boy version which is alot worse than your tractor mines had hardly zero maintenance in the pass 50 plus years it has very high hours the hour meter stopped at 945,000 hours and the previous owner told me the hour meter stopped working over 20 years ago so who knows how much hours it is currently on it the hyudraulics are shot cooling system is shot so it over heats alot none of the gauges work every moving greaseable part is super lose its been rolled a few times busted headers and every body panel is damaged i feel pretty bad for that poor tractor but im the only person in that ever gave that tractor much love that it never had with its previous owner

@@Farmscrap1183 thanks. I ended up just replacin the solenoid and we're all good now. I ordered a new distributor and thos thing runs like a top. I appreciate the reply.
I just obtained my first tractor. Also 424 but have yet to Get her started. Noticed the fuel shut off solenoid on the carb did you have to remove that? Mine rolls over sounds great will run a little bit of ether but nothing else… Am I doing something wrong?
@@Farmscrap1183 i have a Chevy alternator on my ford 300 6cyl tractor (homebuilt)... I cant figure out how to make it work.... ??? I bought it that way and it worked for a couple times starting the tractor and after that, nothin....
