@@edwinalmanza1427 Clown, Oscar trained with Floyds dad for years and still couldn't beat Floyd..Mention a fighter that beat more World champions than him, mention a fighter has beat more Hall of famers than him, stupid casual
He didnt have braces or anything as a young age, his teeth is naturally so good because as a kid his father didnt allow him to have candy or anything sugar related.
ITakePain x no that’s not true at all Floyd had veneers dun he said it during his bet interview 2 years ago he go to the dentist and he get chemical peels dun
Floyd cracks me up lol. How can you not like this guys. Yeah, he plays the bad guy, but that's his job and the sound bites are priceless...plus he always backs it up.
+Timothy Ruffin I wish he still talked shit honestly. I love this Floyd. He ALWAYS talked shit until it came to Pacquiao then he stopped. Even in the second Maidana fight he talked shit. This Floyd is entertaining asf
Timothy Ruffin we don’t like him because he calls himself the best ever, the “goat” when he’s never fought anyone in there prime, waited for his opponents to get old and past there prime. No joke but if he would of fought Oscar in his prime or in 2006 Oscar would of schooled gayweather
@@andyvelasquez9488 I don't think he had that kind of money at that time, he was climbing divisions to get to those big money fights. He was the one chasing the big names.
Floyd beat a huge 154 lb WBC junior middleweight Oscar. Manny beat a no title, a weight Oscar hadn't fought at in seven years, & Manny's own trainer admitted to seeing IV marks, on Oscar, PROVING he struggled to lose weight, so that don't mean Manny beat a better boxer.
Mayweather became a lot more articulate and fluent in speech as he got older, unusual for a boxer and further proof of just how defensively skilled he has been over the years.
Why does someone always have to be on roids just because they look a lil swole? It shows some of you have no appreciation for what the human body is capable of with proper nutrition and hard work. Or maybe some of yall are just jealous that your body can't resemble that.
I watched that fight in 2007! What a memory. ‘The world awaits’ was the title on the poster for this event. I was 25 years old at the time and I was rooting for De la Hoya. Boxing is a wonderful sport and will always be in my heart!
I thought oscar had action as long as he was jabbing but once he stopped he didn't stand a chance. He also took mayweathers trash talking to heart too much, he still hates Floyd although they getting money together now
No shit Sherlock, spot on....! A undefeated fighter - Will never be a 100% complete boxer. A complete fighter need to know how it feels to be defeated (And how difficult it is to return from that)
dragon balls Step into a boxing ring, and fight against a couple of Semi-Pro opponents, and let's talk again when you know what it takes for a human, to be prepair for a fight... You can be strong as lion, and have stamina like a football player, but I guess you have NO clue about how difficult it is to be mentally ready. That have been a nightmare for 95% all boxers - Mike Tyson was unsecure up to all of his proffesional fights, and what happened to Mike after his 1st. pro defeat...? Mike became even more unsecure, and he was a changed fighter for life... Just because of mentally twist inside the mans head. He is a complete boxer, he have tried all parts of boxing - Floyd has not!
Kay D No no, it isnt't his fault - Floyd is great - All I am saying is, that a fighter is first a complete fighter when he have felt the feeling of a lost..
I agree, Oscar had so much speed when fought guys like Trinidad, Chavez, and Camacho and his fight with Floyd was still that close. Oscar would have schooled Floyd had the fight been 3 to 5 years before it actually came
Isaiah Thomas Ok so why didn't he? Oscar was far out of his prime, while Floyd WAS in his prime when they fought, so why the freak did Floyd not drop him? Oscar never even appeared to be seriously hurt and you have the nerve to tell me that Floyd would have DROPED De La Hoya?!
I see two polite and clever guys, masters of their businesses who showed the best of themselves leading up to this fight, throughout it and after. Great pleasure to have such a legacy
he doesnt necessarily run all the time though...he's an amazing fighter- very smart and talented....he does not take punishment, which is the main aim in boxing
Exactly. Duran stood in the pocket and took no real punishment. not many can do that and Floyd chose a different way about it but the results the same tremendous records and still got it all together in retirement.
starchild Roy Jones and Floyd are not the same size 💀 Roy Jones is naturally bigger I know damn well he walked around at 180 when he was fought at 154 lol Floyd’s probably never been past 170 in his life
"He can try to pressure me. He can try to ruff me up. He can throw his left hook. It ain't gonna work." Lol. De La Hoya was looking like, ain't this a bih. He called out his entire game plan
David. Kidane boxing lesson?? It was a split desicion. Also Oscar was beast in his Prime fought everybody your a fucken idiot don't know shit about boxing
@@AntonioGomez-co3us why would you waste your time with ignorance. We all know ALL the mayweathers are loud mouths who are dirty and have no sportmenship class.
@@Ro1Up it was a pretty close fight. Oscar showcased amazing offense and Floyd showcased amazing defense and counter punching. It was a great fight for a reason.
@@gupmali fight was pretty close, de la Hoya applied so much pressure throughout the fight, while mayweather was on pinpoint defense. Mayweather didn’t have a lot of room for mistakes that’s why it was a good close fight. Two great boxers going at it.
I mean Oscar was 34 and almost finished. Floyd was in his prime. But the fight was still competitive. 116-112 in my opinion. Floyd had to work hard to win that day.
Floyd's point about Mosley helping ODLH get ready for the fight was very telling because ODLH did not and WOULD NOT HAVE EVER helped Mosley a black fighter, get ready for another Mexican fighter like Vargas...Floyd was spot on with that point
Floyd GOAT is GOAT is very disciplined. The most disciplined fighter of all time. Running to home after club instead of driving? Who does that? There is no blueprint to beat him
Let's be real here- all the hate anger and jealousy Towards Floyd Mayweather is because he's undefeated he's super rich he's black ! I'm Latino so I don't give a shit if he lost Facts are facts. Listen to all the media hate on mayweather. It's an agenda against Floyd. We are talking boxing judge him as a boxer
Joe Pere, Anger yeah, but hate and jealousy..nah. Yes it's true that Floyd lost this fight but the anger comes from the shit he talks but he can't back it up. Look how fucking long it took him to fight Pacquiao, after Marquez dun did destroyed him...he was damaged goods by then.
