The best coil inductors I’ve ever heard are scatter wound round copper coils made by now defunct North Creek.

I’m in total agreement with having a Room that can handle your music . When I built my listening room , I knew where I wanted my speakers to be. Klipsch Conner Speakers, so I made their spot and double insulated the room , the ceiling and walls . Even my floors are thick vinyl, expensive but no rattling ect. Just music ! Why spend that much money when you can’t use it to hear it’s true capabilities. Plus do you have neighbors ect . ? I have about 15 acres, so loudness isn’t a problem in the county. Just Wonderful !

Round Copper coils can and most times sound better than flat foil type , unless you need the advantages foil brings in xover control as foil inductors are way more linear, so out of bandwidth distortion is better controlled ..!

Prices are sickening, these things left in reach of the folks who transferred the worlds wealth from middle .

You are a reincarnation of a guy named avshowrooms (peter breuninger) from 15 years ago. he been there, seen that, done that, alas to no great success. I think the future is in hifi on yachts. an ordinary man cannot buy hifi. fortunately, Amir from ASR measured all of that and compared to $12 stuff and found no difference whatsoever. Then Darko discovered an old truth that 80% of sound is room acoustics.
