You did a great interview, Scott. I got a sense of how Stu felt during the final days in CCR. A narcissist can make life hard for you. I don't know if John was a narcissist, but he may have had the same effect.
Being a great Fogerty fan ..I don't under stand and I don't want to ...but when CCR were inducted into the Hall of fame. It disappoints me that john didn't want to perform with Stu and Doug......they worked their guts out to....when creedence were at their peak.. ..all the best Stu and Doug👍👍JSW AUSTRALIA
i think stu and cosmo always realized revisited was a tribute band but its hard to knock their contribution to the music, john is def the leader but they were great players IMO
@@alldayvinyl Great Players? LOL!!! Those guys would have never been more than a garage band without John. Then they had the balls to backstab John when they could.
You know everyone has a right to make a living, and they were part of Creedence whether you liked it or not. So they went and played music they were part of, and made a little profit too. Nothing wrong with that.
Stu's compliments of other artists seem like back handed insults to John. Too bad he's so bitter he can't just give John the credit he deserves. I've heard Tom's solo stuff. Even his "hits" are kinda silly and I wouldn't buy them for sure. Never heard of this Rocky guy so I doubt he's the best rock vocalist, but everyone can have their own opinion. Did Rocky make the Rock and Roll HoF?
I love John, he’s a hero of mine, but the way he treated stu, Doug and Tom, will always tarnish my my image of him, yeah, we know you wrote the songs, good boy, pat on the back, but making it a mission to exclude the rest of the band’s contributions, just puts him on a much lower level in my mind, so with that said, he’s nowhere comparable to Dylan, or Lennon and McCartney
John treated the other 3 very good until they stared “crapping” in John’s face! These 3 scoundrels sued John when they lost their money in the Castle band, fiasco because John didn’t invest all his money, like they did! John’s Brother Tom sued John for royalties from the songs John wrote! There are other things, also. This is the thanks John got for taking them from garage band status to 1 of the best roots based R&R bands in history!
@@davidkirkham6497 I’m very aware of the other’s behaviour, and the things they did, but at end of the day John stands over them and takes in his sweet revenge, and doesn’t consider how much it makes him look like the villain , I’d have a lot more respect for him as a person if he tried to give ‘em’ (and the fans)one last hurrah before they die, but I’m just man who believes in the virtue of forgiveness instead of revenge, what good am I ?
