I could only imagine how I was seen as a kid. I would go unnoticed since I was quiet and did my work. No one would really what was going on with me cause I would never verbalize what was going on in my head

As an INTJ I had a tough childhood full of misunderstanding , bullying and bla bla bla and I'm pretty sure that my problem is common with other INTJs

In socionics, functions of INTj -> Ti-Ne-Si-Fe -> the J stands for “Judging” and Ti (just like Te) is a Judging function, not a perceiving one… meanwhile.. in socionics INTp , the P stands for Perceiving, a perceiving function an intuitive like Ni… so INTP really is what you call intj…. Ni - Te - Fi -Se …….. you owe to your subscribers to stop spreading misinformations just to your own gain, actually, addressing the fact you’re IN FACT INTP (which would be intj with intp’s functions but thanks to the nonsense manipulations that have been made to Jung’s theory by a logic lacking INFP that only made colourful characters and pushed the inherent tendency in human nature to separate in groups). You should have realised this already. But she preferred to morph reality according to her subjective model of logic and truth

As an INFj I find it interesting how you talk about stuff and how your Ni manifests when trying to conjure up and form coherent coherence (...whatever that is).When you INTJs talk, it is like a cloud with sharp edges.. When we talk it is a cloud with soft edges, less defined but both are still abstarctish and fluidy. About the last part of the video: Sometimes when writing sentences I just forget writing a word that is esential for the sentence to be whole.. But when writing the sentence, I feelt like I didn't make a mistake.. I only notice it when doublechecking what I wrote... I am like "dude, a word is missing.."
@peon17
@peon17 Год назад
I find myself forgetting words often. Usually it's the word "not," which clearly changes the meaning of the sentence. I've had to train myself to proofread everything I type in fear of making a grievous mistake.

This totally resonates with me. As a younger kid the adult really didn't know how to deal with me. I was considered one of the smartest students in school, but I was also considered very aloof and not great at communicating. I vexed many of my teachers by giving them the right answer, or what they considered a well thought out answer, but I couldn't be bothered to tell them how I got there.

@@Kalle875had flashbacks of sooo many arguments with with math and science teachers who took points off for not showing every single step in solving a problem lol. I would do it once on the first problem to show that I knew every step in the process but after that steps are getting combined cuz I'd rather have the left over time to day dream than a perfect score.

I never got tested like this but all I remember being told is that as a really young child, I was noticeably more intelligent than the other kids. One funny story I only vaguely remember is that apparently in nursery I would go and get milk from the fridge myself instead of waiting for the staff to get milk for me. I wasn't stealing it to be clear, because I only took what I'd get, but I got it in my own time and on my own terms. A lot of what is described in this video is also very akin to my own experience. I think the main difference was I was actually good at spelling and sound systems but I think that's because I figured out ways of putting the sounds together and sort of constructing them. Once I understood the systems it became easy and I wouldn't even need to revise (I hardly ever revised, was just draining). But yeah, as a kid, I was also very much the more obedient kind of child but I'd get annoyed if my parents screwed up my plans with incompetence because then I'd have no control over the situation.

@Azdaja13
@Azdaja13 Год назад
@@InternetLiJo Yeah, unfortunately primary school (and later secondary school) did not encourage that kind of independent behaviour at all. They expected you to run to teachers and get them to sort all your problems out (and usually they'd end up making it worse). That was painful to adapt to... in more ways than one. Contrast between nursery (where I could comfortably be independent and none of the staff really had an issue with it... on the contrary they seemed impressed by it) and school (where independence was entirely snuffed out) was just complete whiplash. Really hated school, and even university too because that was kinda the same, except instead of teachers, they expected you to rush off to Student Union or like Hall Wardens or whatever.

I did psych tests this year at 33 years old. By connecting the dots, I find it correspond well to my type too. Objective personality : MM-INTJ-Ni/Fi-SCBP Rational typology : INTJ subtype 2 Achiever (Solide Te Se, fluid Fi Ni, which match perfectly with my OP type Masculine Te Se, Feminine Fi Ni) My results are not totally signifiants because after a certain time, my processing speed and working memory have decreased, suspicions of disorders. (I suppose it correspond very well with Asperger, Sensory processing disorder, Se inferior) I was anxious this day (fear to spend money for no results), and stressed during timed tests. At the end of the tests, I was fed up, I didn't want to think, and find it boring, whereas I loved the first tests. XD I have great short term memory (I don't know where does it come from), knowledge in many areas (high Consume ?) Good with puzzle and patterns (correspond well with the ability of problem solving INTJ, and Asperger) Hypersensitive (both sensory and emotional), hyper-empathetic, impostor syndrome, justice and respect are very important for me. I was lucky the psychologist was INFJ and also gifted, I think she knew I was too, before I do the tests, and she know MBTI (which is not common in France). I told her :"I always have been very calm", she anshewer : "but inside it's boiling" "I don't know, I didn't really need anything" It's what I often said to my parents. I find theses tests very helpful and important in particular for Intuitives types.

INTJ and former Mensa member here. I wonder how close of a correlation there is between IQ and type. (I too scored highest on visual/spatial learning measures)
@paiib4495
@paiib4495 Год назад
IQ tests, or maybe even the concept of intelligence itself, seem biased towards NJ* to me, perhaps SP* as well. It also definitely emphasize T over F hence the rise of the emotional intelligence concept. If these functions are in deed privileged, is it justified or the result of an overrating of certain aspects of intelligence? Is the concept of intelligence a bit too narrow and geared too much towards less common abilities, or skills that tend to make people more professionally successful in our current society? *edit: I meant N and SJ

I believe INTP as a whole scores highest on traditional IQ tests with INTJ a close second. But as pointed out, these tend to favor thinking types because they are designed for mental acuity. I imagine for emotional IQ, we may not score as favorably, for example.

As a kid, I was quiet and kept to myself. As a child, I kept to myself and loved taking things (radios, speakers, anything) apart. I've studied medical sciences, finance and now master of business law and am bored. I have been fired from every sales job and, most recently, this investor relations job where all I did was redo the same presentation over and over.... 73 times to be exact. I'm done.

Cool video. Contemplating on why will we ever get into the unlimited ways to fail that life is offering us. But either way, we leave the NI to choose for us before starting anything. It decides often that what we will start doing will be a thing that is in our competency or not. Either way our NI can fail too. But speaking of, have you tried to throw your content into other ponds, like tik tok, IG with more of a summaries, more funny short clips?

10:00 This. I strongly dislike when I am directly reliant on another in a way that is unavoidable. And this can be something as small as a person who I know is a temporary hindrance and it should be fine. I would give a specific example but I generally don't like saying specific things I don't like publicly

5:57 Given what was indicated earlier the 'freedom from distractibility' portion only supports the previous findings. The processing speed would suggest test anxiety, or that you were overwhelmed by the number of steps required in the process of coming to the answer, or that there was a more "perfectionistic" quality causing excessive load (apprehension) and a degree of lag. This is why it isn't a good idea to interpret these tests yourself, Lindsay.

Idk, sending a child to get psych tests at an early age raises a brow for me. I'm not saying it is negative, and there are many explanations... but it just seems a bit odd. School placement tests allocated me in advanced classes and .1% levels etc. (humble brag), but I never was given a psych test; or at least my parents never pushed for it. Have you ever asked your parents why they had you take them? They clearly care and love you enough to try to understand you more, so don't take this as a slight.
