When my entj friend and I were at university we'd fight for fun to make people uncomfortable so they would leave the room haha. Since we're both females, we were in a university club that only had guys as president and treasurer etc. Entj was like... I wanna depose them. I said cool let's do it. And through a lot of calculated moves these guys were dethroned and didn't even see it coming lol. They weren't mad tho? They were happy to retire. It was funny in a way. It was to total secret coup by entj-intj female combo. I like them, I work with one now. He's always doing something. Since I plan to stay in this job for at least 10 years I plan to ride on his coattails and I keep suggesting future projects we can work on 10 years from now.... just to put it in their heads now lol.
Your story of your coup reminds me of all the times I did something similar with my ENTJ friends. There really is nothing that can stop this pairing because most people will never see it coming until it's too late 😂

I think the only note I have on this one is that ENTJs are great shields. If I get too tired dealing with negative people on my projects, it's wonderful if I can make them talk to the ENTJ instead. I mean, I can do it if I really have to. But why would I want to work myself to exhaustion and depression on a project if I didn't have to? Especially if the ENTJ is better at it and will come back energized?
As INTJ daughter growing up with an ENTJ single mother. I think ENTJ is the safest type of people for me where I can totally just be myself. This applies to dating situation. I'm attracted to an ENTJ man now, yet feel very free to communicate with him without any concern like "Do I seem too intense or serious?", "I think most of guys in dating prefer the lighthearted and bubbly ones". As a result, I seem to be funnier and more humorous when interacting with ENTJ man lol. Before that, I can't help myself to assume my dating counterpart essentially won't prefer women like me - it's not an insecure suggestion, but more of my gut feelings, because I concludes those assumptions based on the way they behavior and their way of thinking demonstrated through the interactions. You know, some seemingly unimportant trivias often imply significance.
Congrats on finding an ENTJ! Never been official with one but I've definitely gotten close and see the appeal. It's difficult to admit as an INTJ that we're not a good pairing for a lot of people but I'm glad you got over that hump. My two best friends (one of almost 30 years) are both INTJ (I"m ENTJ). Both are that person who you just completely 'click' with, never any tension over is someone offended or not, very, very few misunderstandings when it comes to communication etc. The phrase 'well oiled machine' comes to mind - I love just hanging out, but if shit needs to get done we get it done with minimal noise. I like INTJs a lot, they're the easiest type for me to hang out with. Also like other ENTJs but some can be a bit full on if they're the take-over-the-world type (I'm not). This is me and my ENTJ dad, we are constantly talking ISH to each other---It's our way of expressing little things we're thinking right then and there. I think of this back and forth like cooling towers on a nuclear power plant, because you NEVER want us quietly building these things up with no release because there will be HELL to pay. It's nice to be able to express whatever we want in the moment and it not be a huge deal. If either of us were really pissed off about something neither of us would speak or we'd have a nuclear meltdown right there and NO ONE WANTS that.

When we do this we can both laugh and it's all good, but with my mom being a feeler it is hard for her to understand it isn't true anger/hatred; so we have to be careful not to upset her too much lol.
Haha My mom is an ENTJ and I'm an INTJ. I like an ENTJ in small doses personally. I have found them to be a bit intense but maybe that because I'm a girl. They make great combo Lord Voldermort - ENTJ Severus Snape - INTJ and Darth Vader - ENTJ INTJ - Darth Sidious. ENTJ make excellent mindmates. WIth other Ni doms such as ENFJ and INFJ they are more like soulmates to me personally.
It might possibly be because you're her child. ENTJs aren't happy if they're not meeting goals. And as her kid, you are her goals (and it seems to me this would be even more likely to apply to female ENTJs than male ENTJs since even today, women derive status and social benefits from kids). I grew up with an ISTJ mother, and got treated a lot like I was a doll because of the whole S thing where she needed me to conform to society's standards in order to derive maximum status and fit in with everything around her. Also ISTJs are insanely neat freaks, so I was going to look perfect even if my body wasn't. That was some epic and physically painful mother/daughter struggles as I simply don't usually care about the same things she does, but I'm a reflection of her in her view, so she keeps trying to make me. So I had my suspicions on some controlling mother vibes with an ENTJ. Understanding the whys helps, but it doesn't fix the problems, unfortunately.
ENTJ here, and my friend (ITNJ) is an absolute goofball. At first, he seems kind of intimidating, but he is honestly a comedic genius that makes everyone laugh. His functions I certainly Ni, Te, Fi, Se but he sometimes comes across as more of a social creature (even though he is not). He is the only one that can make me smile. Truly. An INFJ friend of ours said that she sees a completely different side of me around him. We just get along, we always did.

Not about memory, bc my istj friend is oblivious af as well, as in remembering life details, but my estj ex-colleague is great at it. Putting it aside, Si demon in intj acts like we abhor/are haunted/just feel bad by memories no matter how good/bad it is, or how our vision/plan carried out. Re-living memory or being nostalgic is like literally nauseating to me. However I’m not sure about how Si trickster manifests in entjs
No wonder I got along so well with my junior high headteacher when she became my superior at work. Everyone else saw her as intimidating as much as they we inspired by her. I got a leg up as her old student who is used to how she worked, but the fact that we both see way further than my other colleagues made it even easier for me to get why she decided something. The fact that she told me she doesn't usually deal with feelings at work but went out of her way to help me mentally, spiritually and emotionally is why my respect and appreciation for her don't get affected by what others said about her.
I have at least one hard confirmed ENTJ in my circle and when we're on the same vibe, get out the way. 😆 Little bit of story time. I remember when we first met, and I wasn't sure we were going to get along, as I often feel about most outspoken people initially, but something just felt a little different here. There was a level of respect I had for their opinion even if I didn't fully agree that I couldn't explain. Fast forward a few weeks and we're raiding together, and we both see someone make an incredibly avoidable mistake because they were being a greedy glory hound. I remember I just sighed and thought to myself, "That was stupid af" and then over the mic I hear my ENTJ homie say verbatim, "That was stupid af." And I just burst onto the mic laughing my ass off cause it was the first time I'd ever had someone say the exact thing I was thinking so quickly. Later on after raid, we decided we were going to just dink around in some PVP matches to wind down and I noticed they were making the same objective calls I was making, as well as anytime we got toppled because of not having enough support my ENTJ homie was right there dead with me. Needless to say, we became fast friends from there and even helped each other overcome different struggles in game. One time they had to adjust to a role I normally play in a raid, and the person explaining it was being too verbose. They chatted me to the side, as I was doing something else and said, "Here's the situation. What do I do for this mech?" I listed out three potential scenarios and responses and they were like, "bet." Later they came back and were like, "That worked perfectly. Thanks! Wish the lead could have just said what you did," to which we got a good laugh. They helped me to get over my discomfort with the responsibility of playing healer both through watching them play the role and just comparing thought processes on how to address healing situations which gave me the confidence to say, "I can do this with a little learning and effort." Recently they had some life changes going on, so they haven't been in game as much, and I miss my ENTJ homie. But I know when they can get back we'll tear it up again laughing the whole way.
That's a funny story man! My ENTJ friend has been trying to get us back in MMOs and of course he wants to start a guild where he's the leader. They're funny people once you get over their extroverted personality. A lot of energy but it's usually worth it 😁

Aww man, I sooo wanted to take over the world. I have noticed that most RU-vidrs doing these videos are INTJ's lol. I am a creative ENTJ and took the test multiple times and get ENTJ T every time. I don't feel like a CEO as the description suggests but do see each persons potential. It only takes a moment and I can usually have solved what they where struggling with. It is like a puzzle needing to be solved for us.
This describes my friendship with an ENTJ so well 😅 I have a question for INTJ x INTJ friendships tho. I want to know this guy and I’m 90% sure he’s and INTJ like me but the thing is, neither of us have the guts to initiate conversations 😂. When we do talk it’s always about a relevant topic or continuation of something from before. We both observe each other from a distance and it feels like a mind game (like Light and L from DeathNote) both of us predicting the most subtle ways we can interact. How do I approach him when the only time we see each other is in big social groups? Because the last thing I want is for the rest of the rooms judgment and gossip 😪

Big social gathering is good. You can hide in the crowd. If a third person comes to talk to you, pick a boring as f topic (work related?). Your INTJ will go with the flow. Once the third party leaves out of boredom, say something like “Well, that seemed to work.” If you’re worrying about being seen together for too long during this events, just make a schedule with frequent pauses. Tell your INTJ that you’re getting a new drink from the bar and to meet you at point x in exactly 15 minutes and so on. If they are indeed an INTJ, they will enjoy the hell out of this little conspiracy of yours.

Fantastic! I don’t know that I’ve ever met an entj but totally agree with the sentiment. So I know my own and suggest to people that I appreciate to maybe look into mbti and intj to help communication but I myself, when reading about others, it seems as obvious as when I read my own. The rub is that I’m not great at things like….my girlfriend tested isfp but nearly 0% on all snd I’m having an issue with understanding this or that within our relationship…I suppose I’m not confident using it on others but certainly appreciate how it’s helped me understand myself.
Dont push MBTI on people because some people either don't want it to need it. As long as you're using it as a tool for your own personal developement, that's what matters most ✊

But then, the ENTP has an analyst role, and the INTJ has an advisory role. ENTP's don't give judgement. They give expertise. Like the INTJ and ENTJ, we have a just 'trust me bro' kind of approach to life. However, ENTP's rarely go into implementation of ideas. They troubleshoot better and can account better for redundancies. INTJ's can predict better, and can account better for opportunities.
I like how you dissected the analysis group in all three of your comments. It's interesting to hear that the INTPs perform the same 'accuracy' function for ENTPs that an INTJ does for the ENTJs. It's probably just because we lead with an introverted function and are uncomfortable beginning a task unless we have time to think about it whereas ya'll can start without needing too much time to mull over the details 😅
As an INTJ (who was the smart boy in high school) im used to work with tons of people. Most of the time (all the time) i end up being the one who do all the homework or the project by myself. One, because they were really lazy and never do anything, and two, because i hate it when i was forced to work with someone i dont like, so i just did it right and fast, so i wouldnt have to keep working with them. Until one day, my class was merged with another class a year older, and the teacher made a big project between the two classes, (in groups of two) i get with a guy who was ENTJ, and i have to be completely honest, i never, but never liked someone SO MUCH in my whole life. We worked together as if we had known each other all our lives, I remember that he knew exactly what I was going to ask him so he did it immediately. We had moments where we fought a little, but every time it ended up being some kind of flirting with sarcasm. I dont know what he is doing, it has been some years, i hope he is doing alright.

Can you do one with INTJ and ENFJ? I've been interested in one, and i would like to know more about them. I believe a relationship with them, would be with one of challenge and growth. And as an INTJ, i like a good challenge
When I first took the test, I was operating from my shadow self- ENFJ, but after 3 yrs with my INTJ, I Retook the test a little more honestly after a lot of reflection and therapy (because I left a narcissist and my cult religion) I'm on my way to being a much healthier INFP. She wouldn't even know if it was wicked or not, because she believed so strongly in her convictions that it was right. Eventually, she started to get soft, and she's the most charming and cordial person i know today. She's also very unpredictable, and that's why i would like to know more about her type, so i can plan out the best actions possible to win her heart...Now i just sound silly haha
I’m an intj (real, not mistyped), and have an enfj colleague (tested all kinds of types but after I took a typing test with her me and my friend think she’s enfj), behaves cool in general and might even be mistaken for estp, and despite being Fe dom, don’t really give a damn about others (that she doesn’t like), but surprisingly (when I thought she’s estp) wayyyy more patient and people-oriented than I am (yeah… no need to compare, really) to good friends, wayyyy more likable than an esfj nightmare ex-colleague. I was the one more bothered by people’s stupidity. And she once asked me how to communicate with istjs, I said why? Nothing in particular unless you want something from them, and she said “to make the other person more comfortable in a conversation”😂 nuff said lol. She’s a really nice person in general but tbh I don’t really think of her as “close friend” type bc we don’t really share the same path -I know I’m picky (in every aspect lol)- in that she doesn’t actually know what she wants and basically her life goal is to spend it with her loving wife, provide for her, you know, so…Also is gossipy too
INTJs love ENTJs: Is this a “clickbait”? I assume that your friendship with the ENTJ was forged during your earlier years but mature INTJs and mature ENTJs don’t gell well. As a matter of fact, INTJs & ENTJs are MBTI’s greatest enemies/rivals. The Ps enter the fight as assistants. The MBTI war of global domination: (INTJs + INTPs) vs (ENTJs + ENTPs) The only type INTJs really respect is the INTPs. INFJs are a special case. The “E” in ENTPs and ENTJs make them shallow in INTJs’ eyes.

Many companies have seen global dominance with ENTJ - INTP couple like Steve Jobs + Woz with Apple and Brin + Page with Google. I have yet to see an example of an INTJ+INTP couple besides Grimes and Musk - and that didn't work out too long lol. Respect for INTP yes - working together NO. ENTJ+ENTP for global dominance perhaps with the Tate brothers who got reasonably far. I wouldn't consider INTJ-ENTJ enemies but rather both having their own thing going on and supporting each other with strategy INTJ->ENTJ and mentorship ENTJ->INTJ. And yes that is commonly the ENTJ in charge and the INTJ as navigator - in the navy technically second-in-command - since the ENTJ usually outearns the INTJ and so has more power. Also WeWork dude ENTP with his INFP gf got quite far once and Jeff Bezos ESTJ is doing pretty well with world dominance and so I can name many other types making an impact.
