One thing I never understood about the TEC-9 in airsoft; real TEC-9s with the barrel shroud always have holes in the shroud in rows of four, but every airsoft version I've ever seen always has the holes in rows of five. Anybody actually know why?
This irritates me to my core because I’m gonna get mine soon probably fuck about with it while watching big trouble in little China and I’m gonna see the hole on the shroud and feel somewhat disappointed (I’m a stickler for accuracy)
You know.... that tec 9 oddly looks like an ar-15 reciever with a miniature barrel... What if you took a gas ARP-9 with a straight magwell and did a little modding to make it look like a tec9? That deffinetly sounds like an idea that could work
what did you use as the base for the upper? did you just modify the original off the gun or did you take it off something else i had the idea of finding a broken echo 1 gat and trying to do this with an upper from that so i dont have to mess up the original one but i dont know if that would fit or work

i always though the ab10 looked silly. the only real reason it exists is because of the usa 10 year awb of 1994 although other countries may also have had them due to similar laws just because it looks mean when in actuality they were known for being dirt cheap and absolute dogshit hence why the kg9 smg didn't win any military contracts. they were used by gangbangers for the same reason as the hipoint and the hipoint is even worse because it runs probably worse and they are so ugly it's a face not even a mother could love and the only one "worth " owning is the yeet cannon because it says yeet on it. I also want to see the tac 9 in airsoft. tec 9 for the 21's century.
Thing is the KG9 wasn't actually a bad gun, crude yes, but it was reliable having shot a few dealer Sample guns The tec9 and it's variantsnfrom. Having seen a fair few, both civilian legal mg conversions, semi auto open bolts and the later closed bolt guns. The issue was mainly crap aftermarket mags and the shit state of 22 ammo in terms of setting the narrative of lack of reliability. Oh and the usual issue that these kind of guns need full power SMG 9mm vs the softer shooting pistol stuff. They are impractical and hidious and really inaccurate in auto because of the rof but I want one.
@@jediknight1294 still the hipoint is even worse. even less reliable, shittier sights, and the ugliest gun you will ever see. it makes the aug look beautiful. seriously hiponts. cheap. ugly. throwaway guns, gangbanger guns. nobody likes HI points. not even their mother likes HI points. id pay $5000 for a real tec 9 if i can find it on gun broker. of course, I would also buy the airsoft version too so i can go to columbine and rush b irl. columbine and b rush are the tec 9 memes
