Intro to Batman Combos | MultiVersus

The Batarang's utility is greatly understated in this video. If you're confident about your ability to combo with Batman's melee attacks, you should pour all of your perks into maximizing the potential for your Batarang. Personally, I use the Batarang Debuff perk, the reduce recovery time (offense + utility) perks, and the projectile 20% speed increase perks. When combined, you basically have 90% uptime for your Batarang, making it a core component in your combo game beyond starters and extenders. Most importantly, the Batarang gives Batman the ability to gimp opponents. When used after down attack x2, your opponents will be launched horizontally, giving you the opportunity to gimp them off stage. This is incredibly easy to perform as the Batarang could be angled *whenever* you want (you can input down/up long after you have thrown the Batarang to change its trajectory last minute so long as it's not coming back). The Batarang is also a way better option at lower percents compared to up attacks after performing your side normals. I usually do side x2 -> batarang -> dash -> side x2 -> up normal -> up special. Aside from that, I would also add that the Bat Claw is hot garbage due to its inconsistency in reeling Batman in, its long wind up, and tiny hitbox. Dair is a good move when you land it, but it has two critical flaws-it cancels your fast fall, and its wind up frames are way too long, making it interruptable for anyone who could react. Down Special, on the other hand, can be buffered by itself, and you can change the angle of it just like the Batarang, even during the kick.

bro i just picked up batman and now im lvl 16 with him and ive been killing it.. consistently 300-400 dmg in 2v2s ur video helped out too tho

I can't wait for Nightwing to be added in the game so I can use it and fight Batman. also Red Hood, Joker, Azrael, Bane, Deathstroke, Ra's Al Ghul, Clay Face, Killer Croc would be great additions.

I played batman in the first beta and managed to discover some combo strings I couldn't share then, but since the game is public, I decided to share a few of the strings I discovered from labbing. Hoping to record a couple games to show how lethal he is when it comes to combos and juggles.

Can someone anyone please tell me y no matter what I do I can not get the second hit of Batman's side air attack I have tried both sticks separately and together. I really want Bats as my second but this is taking the fun out big time 😔

This game looks absolutely fantastic, sucks they didn't make it a retail game, I am actually more interested in this than smash ultimate and that has the greatest (gaming related) mash up roster ever and good mechanics, I think this would have sold pretty well if WB advertised it right and maintained the F2p route too. i rly wanna play him but it feels like he doesn't have any kill moves, i always get ko'd around 70% and up but my opponent literally needs like 140% until they're in kill range
