This Video will breakdown the numbers associated with each boxing punch in a orthodox stance. You'll be given a breakdown of the number 1-the jab, number 2-the cross, number 3-the left hook, number 4-the right hook, number 5-the left uppercut, number 6-the right uppercut, number 7-the up shoot, and the number 8-the overhand right. I left footwork out of this boxing punch numbers video to allow you to focus on the punch numbers. You can shadow box to this video to help the punch numbers sink in.

Its good to watch how everyone teaches to hit the bag or what ever you hitting , u got to remember somtimes a way of hitting might work better for you and it might not , you have to find it best fighers in the world , most had there own unique style of hitting

What is the difference between 6-the right uppercut, number 7-the up shoot ? You have written 6. Right upper cut and 7. right upper cut in video. Is that a mistake ?

The up shoot is a little different then an uppercut, an uppercut is very close range whereas the upshot, or shovel, is like a mix between an upper cut and straight and it's from more of a distance then a traditional uppercut

Hi Nate, I have a question regarding the numbering, is it standardized? Ive seen a number of channels that follow your numbering system but recently I came across one that showed something different, that frankly confused me. 1. jab, 2. straight, 3 left hook, 4. right upper cut, 5. left upper cut, 6. right overhand, 7. left overhand, 8 right hook to the body. Just curious if there are different numbering styles.

hello american hook with which mmshat we should hit when hitting 4 masfatlam no yoksa mark mid masfatlam we should hit the hooks exactly which point we should hit while hooking up I hope you have not received satisfactory answer from many professionals with bare hands without gloves.

Hi Mr Nate!!!!boss man sup!!yes I'm finally loosing weight killing the boxing bag /kicking e/lbows knees./.my elbows tweaked cuz of monster shots wth bad!!intentions 2half hrs..hahaha!!!so I have to learn how to hiit softly which is backwards to me but I gt it..chill a while stop going ape-shit on it..hahaha to many Death blows for to long....boxing's addictive .I'm hooked brooo!!!

I'm watching this just so I understand boxing terminology when I watch TV with my husband. Aren't I a good wifey? 🙂 Still don't understand how the judges score fights though. I don't want to ask him because he will probably just get frustrated trying to explain it to me 🥺 if anyone in the comments wants to educate me feel free to do so.
