Big up the S950 from another 51 year old 😁. Funny story - mine cost £800 in about 1998 or so, then over the years I got better gear, plugins etc and didn’t need it (plus it needed repairing - probably broken inputs/outputs) and I just left it in a cupboard when I moved out of a flat in Stoke Newington in around 2007. Wonder what happened to it…worth a bit now 😔
As a 40 year old I love how the old school jungle sound his having a resurgence this is the closest thing I've heard to the real thing I hope all the producers start making some dirty tracks.

bro.... this is more useful than serato sampler for the jungle sounds... Unreal. I just bought this and will go to town tonight on some 90's sample CD pads I have. Keep this stuff up brother!! You clearly made a plugin that isnt a clone of a stock plugin, or a quick cash grab. this is authentic as it gets!
This is excellent. Especially, the Akai time-stretch alogrithm. If you add an option to extend the frequency range to 12 bit and 32KHz, which would provide the Akai sampling experience, then I think it is safe to say that it would pay off for you guys even more. I'm not the only one after this. People on KVR as well as here are also inquiring about the same thing.
At this price, this was a no-brainer buddy. Omg love it so much. It's so inspiring. The interface just makes it one of the most intuitive tools in my arsenal now and inspires me and allows me to just work with the audio instead of being distracted. The stretch, pitch and phase brings me back to that time. Absolutely amazing work. Next thing to do here is to hook it up a tracker. Dankjewel noorderbuur!

Bro I was born on the wrong continent. I grew up in the 90's in Denver, which is now the bass music capitol of the US, and came into my own in the 00's and loved UK music like garage, dnb and dubstep and I'm so happy to see this available now I can't wait to put it to use. not even to mention the backspin plugin... BRO! I've been wanting a way to backspin the currently playing sound and not get a generic backspin sample.... not like anyone would ever notice but knowing myself that it's authentic is key. much love mate.
Bought this yesterday. I love the thing already. It'll speed up my work flow. I love the chord function great for creating pads. The possibilities are endless. I dig all the other free Plug-ins simple sub and dubber. Wow, you're going to make a killing from sales for sure.
This is the most excited i have been about new kit in yrs. I can finally let go of the akais and do this all super fast. I fully expect this plug in to be genre defining as people get to grips with it and automation. Great work, truly a workhorse. ❤

This was an insta-buy a few months back when I first saw it, but just had chance to play with it - happy to see that the sample start is automate-able, for all the effects I used to do with command 19(I think?) like the fake 303 filter cutoff trick, and triggering a sample every line at a really fast tempo and offsetting the sample start to create a pseudo timestretch effect
For new Logic X users make sure you have the copy audio files to project box checked when you are saving your project, so that Amigo can find your files the next time you open your project. It is not ticked by default.
Salute to you for making such an amazing plugin. I have no choice but to go purchase it in a few to try it out but I can already see that this might be replacing Serato Sample for me. The only thing they got on you is the new stem separation feature. If you could incorporate stems into the vst, then you my friend will become super rich. I'm sure you're already making a killing off this but incorporating stems would make your VST #1 in the vst sampler world and would blow Serato out of the water because of all the other features. As a Boombap producer, this vst is a Godsend to me to get that old gritty sound on sample chops and drum breaks/bass. We used to manually process all our drums to 8 Bit and lower the sample rate on Cool Edit Pro back in the day to get a similar effect. The fact you made a plugin that can do this on the fly is amazing! Keep it up bro youre about to take off!!! Run those meta and google ads targeting Producers and you're good to go. I wish you nothing but success and prosperity. Hope to see the stems feature added to an update one day in the future 😉 💯 🫡

@@SolidtraxNL crop is helaas niet mogelijk is beetje complex om uit te leggen maar komt op neer dat samples worden "gestreamed" van je computer en voor veiligheidsredenen kan je vanuit een plugin niet zomaar bestanden op iemand zijn systeem ook echt aanpassen dus direct bewerken ( knippen etc ) vandaar dat geen een sampler plugin dit kan ook tal-sampler bev niet maar alleen de tools in DAW zelf kunnen dit sinds die vanuit programma bevoegdheid werken. hopelijk is dat duidelijk genoeg uitleg haha
Mad props for this plugin!! Managed to cook up my first Jungle-ish track with this!!! I do have a suggestion. Do you think it would be possible to add a feature to export a marked/selected loop in a sample? I managed to cook up some weird synths from a vocal sample that sounds fairly neat.
I have been loving this for the few days I've been playing with it! One question - is there any possibility on a future update to allow dragging samples directly from the DAW timeline into the sampler? That kind of resampling workflow would be insane if it's possible!
already possible, u have to consolidate the clips first though in DAW so right click consolidate and then u can just drag into amigo :) atleast thats how to do it on ableton, but other DAW just lookup how to consolidate clips
I can't thank you enough for this, Amigo Sampler has opened so much creativity in me once again! Can't stop making starting new projects with this, new ideas to experiment keep coming up. This was the best VST I've bought this year, big thanks. Would there be any chance for you to make a HiFi sampler with stereo support etc (keep Amigo as it is!)?
Nice plug-in! Just got it! I miss stereo... how about mod-style polyphonic voice-allocation? (left-right-left-right etc) and also stereo mode for phase! I would also like to be able to gradually move between INTERP on/off, and samplerate up to 48000!
Me neither. I had to wait till the late 90's till I got a PC using a sound blaster. Tbf it's amazing what you can do with a few seconds of sampling time.
Same boat - luckily we had some friends with Amigas back then and the PC from our family with MOD-Edit. But apart from that so cool to have this now to get that sound!
Really great sampler! It's been years I've been looking for something like this! Btw, are you going to update it in future? There are some other features I'd like to ask, for example sampling at 28867hz max (that's the max frequency of the AMIGA's Paula - equivalent of the A-3 note in ProTracker), the possibility to generate seamless loops (particularly with pads where isn't possible to loop these without clicks), emulation of the LED filter (for both A500 and A1200), and emulation of some volume controls to generate trancegates using effects like the Axy and ECx commands in ProTracker.
yeah we will update still if needed sometimes, the rate we can do for sure :) LED filter we already sort of have when u press [interp] thats interpolation kinda like a filter same as how the 1200 LED filter works. but again to stress this isnt a 1:1 amiga emulator its and amiga inspired sampler that captures the magic of the amiga but we don't intend to be exactly like the original.
as far as FX go like echo, trancegate u can easily achieve this with external plugins or stock devices :) no need for that to be inside Amigo in our opinion, more choice that way too on what FX u want to use
