I've got a group of two boars and two sows and it's doing them so much good. One of the boars has never really become tame, always too scared. But now all four of them sit in a row every day eating out of my hand.

One of my guinea pigs died a while ago and I really want to adopt a spayed female to keep the other one company but because of COVID it’s not been as easy.
I kinda want to breed one of my boys whenever one passes first. But by then, could old guinea pigs even mate still? It's sad to think they'll pass. But it'd be cute to at least be able to carry one of their lives on.

Best thing you can try is, get your boar neutered and then get a sow for him. Very good chance male and female will get along, I did this with an "undbondable" boar and it worked. If you do get him neutered make sure the vet has done them successfully before and you wait the 6 weeks after the op 👍
Vika ir viskas try bathing them together and use a hairdryer to dry their fur (make sure its on low) guinea pigs that bathe together stick together and they will both smell the same and try bonding them again i hope that helps
