Introducing new chickens into your flock 

I've been lucky over the past 30 years I never quarantined and never had a problem.

"if you wanna avoid a fight, always add your chickens at night" still rings true.

Why didn’t you show the chickens?

I use to hate bringing new birds into the fold. Sometimes it was hard to watch. An old farmer friend of mine told me to always add them in equal #'s and it wouldn't be so bad. He was right! if you are going to add 2 birds to a flock of 10 get 2 of the 10 and isolate them with the 2 new birds. Once they are acclimated to each other add 4 more, than add the rest of them. Much less traumatic on the birds. Worked for me anyway! Chuck

i"m sure a good video, but when you have to turn your volume up to 80! to just be able to hear you two... you got a probem. CHECK YOUR SOUND BEFORE MAKING VIDEOS!!! THUMBS DOWN ON THIS ONE!
