Great stuff, just one other point worth noting: make sure whatever bassline you come up with matches what the other rhythm instruments (guitar and accordion) are playing - if you stray too far and /or too long from their chord progression you risk sounding like ass. For the upright players, check out Trevor Hutchinson with Lunasa. Also check out Natalie Haas, who plays percussive style cello with Alistair Frasier, not totally applicable but worth taking notes.

That would be great! We mostly stay on island with some mainland shows but we've talked about traveling further. Hopefully one day! 😊
