About my videos: These videos are a resource for anyone wishing to wake up from the dream of separation. Awakening, enlightenment, and liberation are becoming far more mainstream possibilities than they once were. There are many good teachers out there, and if you resonate with the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, or Sadhguru, you might find resources here that address these deeper promptings to investigate your true nature.

If you feel you are at risk of harming yourself or others, these videos and practices may not be the best thing for you at the moment. This has been my awakening experience to a T. I lived in fight or flight for long periods of time. The depression was intense. I am soooo happy to be out of that. I thought that my greatest fear was the fear of death but that was not the case. My greatest fear was that we live in a simulation that was stuck in a loop. We would go up the loop slowly awakening to descend back down into complete forgetfulness. Over and over and over. Life, death, life, death, climbing, crashing, forgetting.. I don't know what the reality is but I am ok with it because what is, is. Thank you for this video!

got in a car wreck last week. totaled my car. miraculously walked out without a scratch. BUT the fascinating thing is that when it happened i was like am i alive right now???? i kept saying to myself, wait am i here??? and then i kept noticing over the next week how i never really “know” if i’m here. never have. the absolute ungraspable nature of experience is so palpable. like the whole illusion or confusion or misperception is that i am here and having an experience. but the thing that always confused me when I would go see like a traditional Advaita teacher was that they would say well what’s the one thing you know for sure, that you are. And I kept thinking to myself well I don’t know if I really know that because the knowing of that seems to be conceptual, a thought. Isn’t that what knowing is? I mean it seems like I was there before and after the car wreck as essentially the same essence but I don’t really know what’s real versus unreal and now it’s starting to feel like there’s just no difference. I hope I’m not going crazy lol I love you Angelo!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Less dramatic, Kate, but every time I walk in the bathroom these days, I find myself wondering, “Am I here?” And what is here? And what am I? Love hearing your descriptions of this…

@@macparker3549 ha! i could stand to be less dramatic!! yes yes it’s constant questions like that alternating with deep intense quiet….. and today it feels like anxiety!!! just like something not right…… i wake up in the morning in this deep peace and it fills the space and then thoughts of i guess holding on to it crop up and there’s not room for both!!! it’s like the space goes away. not really but u know….. i love talking about this!!! it’s the only thing that i’m interested in!!!!! i love it when the attention and focus and love and interest arise but then i’m aware of that and can’t jump off that lily pad!!! it really feels like nowhere to go. sometimes that is profoundly peaceful and sometimes it feels horrible!!!!! and i want to go back and never hear of this!!! 😂 BUT ……. it doesn’t seem i can. it feels like the mind is just outta options and it doesn’t know what to do. but of course that is mind saying that. i can feel that no one even hears that comment. 🤦‍♀️ so why this storm of energy swirling around????? who knows????? no one …….🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@@macparker3549 it must be soooo young! it’s an anxiety i’d not noticed until this past year. . it’s quite a lot. morning anxiety :( i don’t recall ever having this. t hawing out is a good way to put it! Do you know sometimes that feeling when you’re on an airplane and you’re starting to descend and the energy like I guess the engines sort of intensifies and sort of homes in that happens to me a lot too right now. It really feels like that! like consciousness or whatever it is is honing in on something. It’s so bizarre. It’s I swear it’s like I feel universal consciousness working lol and that sounds like I have a clue what I’m talking about and I really don’t! I mean I could say a bunch of words but they don’t mean anything and now I’m starting to laugh and this is my life. :-) I just appreciate you listening to me. I really enjoy communicating about this and maybe I need to be talking about it more. Maybe I’m supposed to be one of those people that just rambles on and on on RU-vid lol but I just don’t think it’s me ;)😜😜❤️❤️ Please keep talking to me as well Mak! Thanks Angelo. It's lovely to see these types of longer retreat talks on the channel. How great that we're out of the covid days, when in-person retreats were put on ice. Regarding your comment at the end where you seem surprised at how many people don't know what their intuition is... I believe it's simply a side-effect of the information age/modern world. We have so many inputs and voices inside us that we take in from the outside, that the necessary quiet we need to hear the small voice of intuition simply doesn't exist; - it's literally is being drowned out by the digital cacophony. So actual retreats, 'digital detoxes' are invaluable in helping us to hear our intuition again. Have a great retreat, much power to you 🦋

I don’t feel like I’m the one choosing to practice or not practice or feel interest or not feel interest (in anything, including awakening), even though I still feel like the doer. I don’t know how that makes sense but that’s what it feels like. I can “see/sense” this spaceless space of knowing at any given moment and the side effect is physical bliss but who cares because it doesn’t get past that moment of dissolution into a permanent shift of identity. Still something keeps pulling me even when the mind says “it’s impossible” or “I give up.” It is a strange predicament and a confusing place that has lasted too long to feel like there is any will operating. Your videos are always very helpful, beautiful and appreciated…looks like a lovely gathering and I’m grateful to you for sharing with us. Sorry to be a downer if that’s what it sounds like haha 🫶🙏🏼

@@macparker3549 Yes, there are moments of letting go or stillness that I find difficult to express in words because of how subtle they are. The personality comes and goes in consciousness but it often feels like it’s the clarity which comes and goes. But it’s resistance that comes and goes, among all other apparent forms, not boundless Reality itself (whatever that is 😂)

I was driving last night and I was inquiring “Is there someone driving this car or is there just driving? And is there a thinker or is there just thought? It became obvious that the sense of I or a separate self only exists in thought/narrative. And I keep going back into thought and narrative as a survival mechanism. The conceptual self is terrified of the unknown. It seems like this awakening process is not about me becoming enlightened, rather this process is about the me dying into this moment with total openness and acceptance.

This is really helpful, I feel like everything is dropping away ( even my ability lately to comment) feelings of intense grief and sadness like I’m leaving and never coming back. I’m sad for those around me. I’m scared that I’m going to lose that one thing that’s been keeping me alive my whole life, the one that has held me high when things got really tough. The one that held my hand when health suffered, told me to keep going, don’t give up. Do I really want to lose that. Having health issues made me strong, made me wise, made me indestructible to any mental suffering. What’s going to keep me going when health suffers, who’s going to be in my ear telling me it’s ok and holding my hand in support? Ahh throw me a line cause I’m falling

It is my understanding at [23:50] when he says "die before you die the physical death," he is referring to Ego Death: the loss of personal identity/integration with the body-mind. This is where the fear eminates. Your ego will try every trick in the book to not let it's death happen, but when it does, it is an indescribably relieving loss for the true Self. The true you is free to experience existence in a whole new light. ⚫️🤭

22:22 honestly, with all humility I suffer from FOBFO. Fear of being found out. not that I care what others really think of my honest thoughts, just that it is me having this experience. While I value the virtue of the sublime, my self is still very super-liminal. I bump my head every time before I find the space to enter. *addendum- the bony finger. indeed. That's poetic. thank you. more in the reply...

While I've actually drowned once, I'll save that experience for another time. When I was about 5 or so we went to visit a friend of my mother's. I remember almost nothing about this story except for this part: We went into the back yard through the gate in the chain link fence, it was about four feet high. The first thing I noticed was piles of dirt in the yard, I wondered what could do that to somebody's grass. The answer saw me before I saw it. When I noticed the big black german shepard it was already running directly at me full speed, head down. I shrieked as it took the last few steps at a leap, knocking me to my back it's hot breath in my face. I shut my eyes and screamed, I've never been so terrified in my life, I knew I was going to die. While I was carrying on I noticed that I still could carry on, scream and cry. In fact the adults were laughing. I opened my eyes. Instead of teeth the doggo was treating me with rough tongue. I realized he was making the happiest noises, my terror fled as I accepted this dog thought I was his new best friend. From that moment I was, and I've never been afraid of death since. All things in nature act according to their own virtue. In humility, all I fear is my own thoughts. 💛

Reflections on intuition, “mistakes”: Decades ago, intuition led me to follow a certain spiritual teacher. Years later this choice was revealed to be a disaster. Next intuition? I had to face the consequences of that earlier intuition. No running away. No retreat into the false refuge of victimization. In other words, intuition is evolving, honing itself. Becoming more clear. And now I’m right here! Out of our fears, we sometimes want intuition to be a protector, a fairy godmother, a guide that will never steer us “wrong.” But as Angelo says so beautifully here, our intuition may steer us into exactly the places we are desperately hoping to avoid. This is not to glorify foolish or destructive behavior. Just an observation that our fearful, limited, egoic selves will try to pigeon hole intuition into something it’s not, just as we try to co-opt every other powerful and meaningful aspect of life. So, yes, my intuition was confused by fear and other distortions. Now it’s leading me right here. And every so called mistake or misstep has helped strip away those distortions. As in so many other ways, life reveals itself to be so much grander, wiser, and infinitely more kind than I ever could have known before intuition led me right into the heart of what I was unconsciously trying to avoid…
