Somehow I kinda pushed that to the back of my mind when watching the pilot and was like "huh... maybe it's later in the season. I'm sure interested in seeing how different this knockoff Justice League is from the real thing!" Anyway, then I went and read all three compendiums before episode 4 came out. :P

Yeah that end credit scene being on Facebook is what literally made me go home after work and start the show when it was 3-4 episodes in and was freaking hooked watching week to week

You should've known there was something off about Nolan when they cast JK Simmons. That was my tip off.

I got bad vibes the instant he went "lesser species", like yeah technically they don't have the same powers and stuff, but for a species that's supposedly all about helping other places out of the goodness of their hearts or w/e it's just a big red flag for their views in general...

I got suspicious about him when he helped darkwing and he was NOT happy about it. Also he was helping the guardians but not part of them.

It really shocked me too...and I play Mortal Kombat all the time. I thought I'd be use to a lot of gore and blood by now but found myself still traumatized

If you've seen my hero academia, the boys, or teen titans there's nothing really unpredictable in later episodes. It's pretty generic except the intergalactic stuff. And that's not really impressive either. Overall a good show but I don't understand the hype. Granted I've only seen 4 episodes so far.

Invincible is Dragon Ball Z, except Goku doesn't hit his head.

It's funny how the guy who made The Boys comics tried to give the superheroes stupid names cuz that's how he felt about them, but Invincible has even worse names in my opinion. There's a villain named Roarface... Still a badass amazing show, but the names of the superheroes kinda suck.

Except all three of them are satires so everything about these three storylines is supposed to be cynical and about how superheroes are a bad thing and shouldn't be loved. So Invincible isn't an exception at all.

@@Cipher_Paul Invincible is less satire and more critique. And I wouldn’t call it cynical since it shows the good and bad side of heroes and hero work. It is a realistic take on superheroes whereas the other 2 show you only the bad side and they feel largely spiteful.

It's much faster in the comics. Omni-Man kills them all in the blink of an eye (happens on a single page) and none of them notice except for Immortal, who says "I never really liked you" before Nolan beheads him and returns the sentiment.

It was especially mind-blowing for Red Rush :)

Also, Omni-Man has no weaknesses here and every other hero is like nerfed version of Justice League. Immortal- Shazam&Vandal Savage but nerfed, War Women is weaker than Wonder Woman and doesn't have her godkiller sword which could kill Supes, Flash version here is muuuch weaker than the original and so is Martian. Actually Flash, Martian Manhunter and WW can take down Superman on their own but if they can't, they're definitely able to take him down as a team

And just because it was in slow mo doesn’t mean it was supposed to match his perception of time. It was more for dramatic effect. You’ll notice that his hands are still punching Omni-man at super speed. If it were matching his perspective, they would’ve been like normal punches. And the Guardians are irrelevant in this point

Otherwise I would assume that all speed type characters in any show, comic, movie, anime, etc. Would just be running into walls and killing themselves because they would be going so fast but had no perception of what they are doing. Now because of this when Omniman is able to match redrush's speed, then it's safe to say that he didn't perceive his death that long, like all of you are making it seem. You can even confirm this when the guardians are shown in the background running in slow motion, but for them RedRush just died in an instant. So while I'm not saying that he had a quick death, but he definitely didn't feel like it was eternity when dying. He died at a regular speed that we as humans would've felt like if we got our squished like that by someone of our same caliber. I would also like to add that his "super speed punches" just looked like regular fast punches.

A mean as his dad said people volunteer to go help other planets I knew something was fishy, and then definitely after the first ep a loose idea about how his arc would play out formed

We have like 3 years until we have the really exciting parts of Naruto being reacted to. We also waited a year and a half until the ant ark in HxH. Waiting a couple of weeks is not that big of a deal.

It's not brought up in the show, but in the comic you see them vomit it up right before they get the call and then are annoyed they have to reswallow it before getting to clean it off

It takes a month for them to start watching a show and uploading the episodes on RU-vid. They ar always 4 episodes ahead for early access on Patreon. Might even be 5 with another one in editing
