The problem with this movie, is that everyone AGREES with the Villain. Let the addicts die. Plus the fact that EVERYONE is doing drugs, including a Princess, the presidents aide, etc, etc, is ludicrous. Drug addicts are not innocent civilians who need rescuing. Thus you cannot root for the 'good guys' and the film falls apart!

I don't encourage drug use cause it's such a horrible things that breaks people, however you can still root for a character even if you don't agree with there motives or actions. I root for Micheal Corleone but, I wouldn't root for crime in the real world.
