Michael was an absolute force of nature. Born to sing, born to perform. Oddly tho, a very shy and gentle soul when not in performance mode. I probably say it every video, but it can't be said enough. He's very missed. INXS is very missed. I love seeing people get to experience them for the first time these days. Bands like this leave a mark and should never be forgotten.

The wonderful voice of Jenny Morris on backing vocals, so distinctive with the the YOU in Burn for You. The aussie music scene in the 80's was a great time, so many bands came up through the ranks in pubs. A time when you could see The Angels, Oils, Inxs, Spy V Spy, Mentals, Moving Pictures and so may more.

Dei here. Been loving the whole INXS journey. It's been a trip of rediscovery for me, bringing back all the great memories, and a trip of discovery to you. The saddest thing as I start to wind up my role in this journey is that we haven't even touched on the biggest hits like Original Sin or New Sensation.... and yet, beyond that, there is sooo much more! It's nearly Christmas. It's meant to be a time for joy. I've thoroughly enjoyed our journey together. Full respect. Your reactions have been spot on and honest. Couldn't ask for more! This song was the theme song when INXS toured Northern Queensland, the gate-way to TheGreat Barrier Reef', a World Heritage' listed paradise.. "Tilt my head at the sun and I will burn for you.".

Michael was a born performer, singer, songwriter. I used to get so jealous when I was a kid, I had to work so hard at it and still couldn't be a fraction as good. Now I have thankfully found my own gifts, far away from music, lol. Now I can sit back and love the shit out of all these incredibly talented people, and enjoy watching more people discover this music for the first time. Life is fun.

I was there that night and many others nights watching INXS live, wow the memories will live on! I would love you guys to react to Listen like thieves, the full video that they made for the song. They did a public casting call for people to turn up at the Palais Theatre in St. Kilda Melbourne on a Sunday night, asking that you dress Mad Max esque. That was a mad night lol.

This why Aussie bands were so good back in the 70s & 80s because they did the hard yards performing in pubs.. hence how Pub Rock was formed. If you didn’t kick it live don’t bother walking out in the stage.. 😊🇦🇺👍

INXS was one of the hardest gigging bands ever. They worked it live all over the world for years before they made it big. Just like AC/DC did, gigging live all the time. Hard workers - Aussie work ethic.

Another great reaction guys. I must say the studio version of this song is soo much better. Burn for you is from the album "The Swing" which has zero filler tracks. Please do the studio version of "Original Sin"...The intro is sweeet.

One of my (many) favorite INXS songs is "Wishy Washy" from their 1st album titled "INXS". There is a live video of that song that I love to watch. I would love to see a reaction to that one. Also, if you enjoy watching rock documentaries, "Mystify. Michael Hutchence" is worth every minute. It tells how he became the band's front man to what lead up to his death in 1997.

Mel bin? I live here Melbun with a soft u? Its difficult as every different accent says the vowels differently. We know what it is and that's all that matters. I hear this song and it takes me back to working arvo shift at Containers Limited in Thornbury 1984. I used to have Shabooh Shoobah and The Swing on high rotation in the car driving home with the 20th century Cold Chisel and the QED album Animal Magic. I hear a song and I instantly get a memory. Thats where Burn for you takes me.

Michael Hutchence was an incredible frontman but the keyboardist Andrew Farriss was the genius in the band. He was the main songwriter.

That statement is not accurate. Michael was the main songwriter! In high-school and throughout his short short life Michael wrote poetry. From the inception of INXS many of their songs are Michael's poetry. He wrote about the women in his life and the causes he believed in. Michael is also responsible for most of the melodies. Together Michael and Andrew were a song writing team.

@@mauharley Not necessarily. Sometimes it was like that. Sometimes Michael would bring the lyrics to Andrew. Many times they would be thousands of miles apart and write separately. Both men ... actually all 6 of them were brilliant at what they did. But Andrew wasn't the main songwriter by any stretch of the imagination.

You guys have been wonderfully re-acting to INXS for so long, have you learned anything about Michael Hutchence yet? It doesn't seem so, for an obvious reason (all those INXS fans know what I'm referring to!). I'm a subscriber and I'm very grateful for the reactions to INXS songs and performances but since neither of you ever acknowledge the tragic loss of Michael Hutchence 25 years ago I have to wonder if you've bothered to do some basic research?
