No wonder they turned into the biggest stadium band in the world, probably eclipsing U2....! This was recorded live over 32 years ago & it still sounds fresh , clean & tighter than a snare drum.........RESPECT....!
Whether they were the biggest stadium band in the world or not they came alive whatever venue they played. Magnificent live outfit at Wembley Stadium and at Cardiff University (Students Union). Given the continuing success of U2, it would make for an unfair comparison to judge the 2 bands against each other. Both became worldwide superstars and were friends also. 🎤🎸🎸🎸🎹🎤🎷🥁
INXS has been one of my favorite bands since the early 80's. I was so torn up when Michael left the world. I am a 51 year old who still stops what she is doing when INXS comes on so that I can listen.

I do the same thing. I’m 51 now and to this day I still can’t point my finger at which INXS album is my favorite. But I know that Burn for you is my favorite INXS song. I miss them. The world today needs them. How grateful I am to have grown up listening to their music since the 80’s.
I just can't stop listening to these guys or even looking for concert footage and videos of them. They were the best in the world and still are in my books! I have to admit that I've always enjoyed them and their music more than anyone else in this world. Even to now in 2020. Still strong and will never fade for me. Peace and love everyone and stay safe in these troubled times.
No other front man can hold a candle to his fierce passion and his vocal range. No one dances like this and had or has the whole package. Some have parts- but there is no one like this unique and gorgeous gem of a man! Also- he was a hell of lyricist! Wrote all his words in one take and did not edit them! This man could sing any genre and proved that! I miss you Michael and I wish you peace. Thank you for all you gave and all you left behind.

Well,.. I'm so glad to have seen INXS 3 times when Hutch was there... late 1980s. I even met the bloke in Liverpool St in the city (Sydney), across the road from Hyde Park in Feb 1990, as a late teen. I was very surprised that he'd stop to chat...5-7mins. So calm with much kindness as a person, and much charm. Very nice bloke.
I miss INXS' songs with Michael a lot,his stage presence was (for me still is) unique,his charisma was (is) something that nobody has reached or equaled NEVER before or since his reach for the stars in the sky. Miss your music guys and miss you Michael without relief. INXS means high class music for listeners with good taste,means a new concept of how to connect with people and Michael's voice is so unique and perfect that nothing more but admiration is what he deserves. I only wish and hope that one day you may upload the whole programme and release a new video collection of INXS' performances,a complete and exhaust one. You made my day,thank you. THIS is how i just LOVE to see INXS and their phenomenal singer Michael Hutchence............his Gorgeous looks, dazzling charisma and sensual attraction. I´ve always loved their music, heartfelt lyrics, their musical achievements was way above and beyond at the time and STILL are....I´ll always miss them, but by God Michael was GORGEOUS !!!

The 80's as a teen were massively competitive when it came to music. Punk Rock, Metal, Ska, Reggae, Manchester Rave, Industrial, New Wave, Hardcore, R&B Funk, Hip Hop, etc. but INXS held sway over all of it. To this day it still sounds fresh, new and inspiring.

La mejor banda que he escuchado, Michael Huchence proyectaba una gran sensualidad en el escenario eso muy pocas bandas lo tienen, ese fuego increíble que aún a pesar de los años escuchar estas canciones me generan una gran emoción, lastima que esta banda terminará de momento todo lo que había ganado, aún así INXS gano todo, gran banda fan de corazón.

God how I miss this band. His death didn't hit me hard at the time. They were a band I liked in high school and early college and I was 30 when he died, and INXS was only a distant memory then. It's now that I yearn for what they still had left to write and record. It's the what could have been that died. Dammit.
