Thank you Thank you Thank you for reacting to this song! INXS is one of my all time favorite bands! They have so many great songs- Disappear, What You Need( Live From Wembley 91), The Stairs, New Sensation, Suicide Blonde just to name a few I could go on and on and on! You won't be disappointed! So sad Michael is no longer with us he was truly amazing, great front man and did I mention BEAUTIFUL!! Please keep up the great reactions!!

Hey sweet Jayy- please react to their jam “what you need” ,an often looked over HIT! Also a must is “Need .you tonight/ Mediate.” The Mediate part is a must, so please react to it , but make sure it’s the longer version titled “Need you tonight AND Mediate” please! - some have made the mistake of not to doing the ENTIRE song and it’s very disappointing... to say the least- kinda like how “we will rock you” and “we are the champions” go into one another- that type deal- 🥰✌️

Gosh their music. One of the best bands of the 80's. They helped define that generation. Listen to "Disappear." That song will rock your world. Michael Hutchence's vocals blow me away every time.

Heyy Jayy...... I discovered this band and song when my daughter started listening to them. I have always loved this song..... the part, "Cause we all have wings, But some of us don't know why".... I love it cause it is so true. Kind of like Susan Boyle. When she walked out on that stage, nobody could see her wings because they had been so depressed and flattened by people's judgmental attitudes. But when she started singing, those wings spread out wide and she found out that she indeed had wings and she discovered what they were for. That saxophone part sends me too. lol Thanks for your reaction....Take care and be well. Peace.

we enjoyed this in the 80's, this was top 40! the reason all the reviewers are finding 70's and 80's music so gripping is that the music was about love and commitment, sounds strange and idealistic to modern ears, it was ok to dream, today it is about sexual lust and materialism

I saw this group perform Live in my hometown in one of those summer Spirit Fest and it was awesome, When I heard the news of his death, I was upset. Not many singers, or band members upset me of their deaths like Hutchence did to me , and I've endured many news of deaths in my life time.

INXS were at the top in the late 80s-90s. On MTV all day..Michael Hutchence a rock god sex symbol, and all of them extremely talented. Mystify, Dissapear, Bitter Tears...they have endless good songs

I saw them in the early 80s and believe it or not they opened up for the Go Gos. They stole the show I must say. Rip Michael you left us way too soon thanks for giving us your amazing talent. May God bless you and your family 🙏

The Australian music scene was great in the eighties and INXS was a big part of it. Another great Aussie band to check out is The Divinyls. Most people outside Australia only know them for their song 'I Touch Myself' but they were so much more than that. It's hard to find good quality videos of some of their earlier hits, but try looking up 'Science Fiction' and 'Boys in Town'. 'Hey Little Boy' is another good one.

As a kid I wanted to be Michael when I grew up. Handsome, vocals, vibe he had. He was the first person I admired that committed suicide and I was crushed. Absolutely crushed and confused but it helped me go forward to know in life you never know what someone else is going through. So thankful we have his voice to remember him by. Love INXS. So many wonderful songs.

Oh yes, I was in love with Michael Hutchence since the first time I saw him in grade school! Such a beautiful and sexy man, with such an amazing presence and soulful voice -- just like my other biggest musical crush Chris Cornell. And unfortunately both of their lives came to such a tragic end. RIP to Michael and Chris, miss them always 💔

All the women have the same reaction to Michael Hutchence. There are several documentaries about him, and INXS. Unfortunately, we lost Michael several years ago due to clinical depression that was aggravated by some gut wrenching issues that involved his girlfriend.

This album completely defined my sophomore year of college. I played this tape on repeat constantly. I also bought the vinyl and played it so often that my roommates wanted to kill me, I'm sure! And yes, Michael Hutchence was so gorgeous!

Michael Hutchence IS incredibly beautiful, i can even see that with my prosopagnosia. but his voice is the most sexy part about him, i think. :) Suicide blonde will get blocked, but is their best, i think.

The synth on this song is so beautifully haunting. And the pause at 2:29 is one of the most suspenseful moments in any INXS track. Michael Hutchence was one of the hottest men in rock n roll.

They played this at his funeral - so very sad. His partner died of an overdose within a year of his death. Her Daughter (from her marriage to Bob Geldof), took an accidental overdose about 6-7yrs ago - she was a young mother herself. Such a tragic chain of events. but this song always reminds me of his funeral now.....🖤 You should listen to 'Mystify' and 'Suicide Blonde' - great INXS songs.
