my all time favourite batsman from Pakistan...even though i hated him making runs against India..but there is no one else of his class, respect Inzi Bhai!
Can't agree more.. Izaz and Inzi scared me as number 3 and 4 then Yousuf (Youhana) and then younis khan, that was hell of batting line up. Dnt forget Anwar at top
I'm from India. I love his Calmness , Composure. We talk about aggression but Inzamam defines it. Just look at the shot. Even after the shot he never shown that as a revenge. He simply IGNORED him . That's the Class of Men.
Actually Ambrose was in his sunset of his career.. Before 1996 he was unplayable Aussies normally good against all pacers at there home struggled big time against Ambrose
To hit Ambrose a six like that...It is just colossus. Those who have not seen Curtly Ambrose bowl, let me tell you that he was the most difficult bowler of his time, the meanest of them all.
I been watching cricket since 1975..he is the greatest bat I have seen..he hits the ball at the last possible moment..he makes it look so easy..he seems to make pace bowling look a lot slower.. class, what he got is on you , you wont learn that in the nets or the gym
That is why it was important to get him out with the ball that seamed in or swung in the first 20-25 balls he faced , or you needed the Wiley spinners like Warne, Kumble and Murali to get him, While Inzi thrashed McGrath as well, but McGrath was the first to recognize the early on weakness against the ball coming in, McGrath was successful against Inzi, even if he was thrashed he would alway comeback.
I used to hate him...getting his wicket was not an easy task for any team....and how beautifully he used to speak..... Solid Player...respect from India
And Curtly Ambrose never dismissed Inzi in the 9 test matches played between the two. Inzi is one of the best batsman against fast bowling. Shoaib Akhtar could never dismiss him in the nets or any domestic match.
Unable to express in words the joy cricket had during those days... The dark green field of Christchurch Pigeons wandering inside Sydney ground The crisp clear sounds of Kookaburra shots Serene atmosphere with no drone cameras Genuine rivalries alongwith mutual respect Hutch cup between ind vs pak The long hits of Gilchrist n hayden Magical swings of mohd aasif Thunderbowls of shane bond Mysterious spins of shane warne Inzie's effortless sixes When 2 sixes in an over used to give much happiness than today's 5 sixes in an over (Missed to mention lots of things) Things were authentic and product of talent & hard work without the technology... When cricket wasn't a business, I was a fan...
One of the historic moments.....champion is a champion....Ambrose was given respect till the time he gave some but after that Inzi showed his class. Not a short delivery to be pulled but he let his bat do the talking. Class !!
@@saketkumar9217 common bro are you ok? Inzi started playing in 92 when Ambrose was on his peak! Show me a video of Inzimam struggling against him! Don't talk in air
@@saketkumar9217 you dumb They played 9 test matches against eachother and tell you what you lil chick? Ambrose couldn't dismiss him once in his career. Now go home.
Bhai chod do bacha hai .. 98 ke baad paida hua hoga .. Beta thu kohli wala khel dekho jao .. Legends ke bare me patha he tho hi comment karo .. Inzi bhai and sachin was our inspiration in batting at that times ..
@@hamzakamalkhan2267 Nahi yaar, aisa toh nahi hoga ki kabhi dismiss naa Kiya ho....both are legends. But as far as this video is concerned....Inzi gave a fitting reply.
Wow ! What a response ! These things happen when a great bowler balls a bouncer or an unnecessary throw, batsman at most hits it for four.. but to do that to the bowler of ambrose caliber and hit him out of the park is a tremendous statement! Ambrose knew he had to pay respect there was not a bunny wicket.
Oh what a legend. I just love him. Loved the reaction and the perplexed look on Ambrose though after the six. It wasn't all that short of a delivery. Sheer genius of Inzamam
Greatest batsman against fast bowling I've seen... Once almost pulled off a 350 run chase against India on his own... Love & Respect from Hindustan 🇮🇳🖖
I don't know why inzi is nt the talking story when people talks abt the greatest of the game.. Everyone behind Sachin, Lara, ponting... Bt he is the biggest match winner jst behind lara
@@Abeyrobert i think for match winner's 'legend ' word is nt limit.. yuvraj is the biggest match winner in history of one day game for india fr his world World cUp's contribution.. Still he is nt a legend for 90 percent people..so in my opinion match winners are above than legends or class.. Different people different thinking
Inzi was a real match winner.. Most of his hundreds and fifties were scored under tremendous pressure and match winning innings. He was truely one man army
@iftikhar ali Actually speaking Holding, Garner, Roberts and Marshall also played for the West Indies so I doubt whether Ambrose was the best bowler produced by them.
Pull shot was not saeed anwar's trademark, actually i don't remember any left handed batsman who have a perfect hook or pull shots, even gilchrist had problems pulling, shoaib used to bowl at Ganguly's ribs because he know he wasn't a great puller of the ball... saeed was a classic stroke player and perfect timer of the ball, he didn't need to hook or pull, he just waited for the deliveries that were pitched in front of the middle or leg stump or on wide of the off stump and then would dispatched them gracefully to the mid on or cover boundaries.
A humble lion wakes up from slumber and wacks it with class and elegance. One of my favorite middle order batsmen of all time. Punjabi to the core....❤❤❤❤❤ Love from New Delhi, India.
My God....the ball disappeared into air.....Ambrose shouldn't have thrown the previous ball to the keeper angrily which was given immense respect by Inzy. The batsmen returned every cent of it.
When Inzi comes to bat , the numbers wickets fallen would remain the same . This guy has the ability to produce big partnerships and he’s a complete match winner
One of rare skilled batsman under pressure truly match winner ..he used to hit wasim waqar shoaib sixes on net.were other so called great players give wickets away
oh really ?? Ambrose has been thrashed many times both in ODI and Test Cricket, here is another gem for you, Imran Khan hitting the young ambrose out of the park ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BXA6lEnvnWA.html
I loved aloo and his lazy style of batting and his ability to run out his non strikers! Jokes aside, he was a really good batsmen, as good as Youhana or VVS
