Testing the consumption on the Ioniq in -8C. How much more does one need to adjust the consumption calculations when driving at 110 km/h in the winter?
Here is my Tesla referral code, please consider using it if you buy a Tesla :)

200Wh/km is brutal if you only get a theoretical max of 28.8kWh. I imagine that if it gets to like -25C, you'd be wary of a 100km trip even. No wonder they're (somewhat) cheap on the used market.

Hello, what app do you use for the obd2 data?
@tyfonroad

I should really put this in the description, the app used in this video is canioniq. This app can be a bit unstable with cheap OBD2 adapters though so I had to buy a OBDLink MX+ for it.

@@tyfonroad thanks for your answer. Is the OBDlink lx also the same? Because if all these good apps are available for android and the cheaper lx works the same with android, why did you go for the mx?

@@davidpalen04 I went for the MX since I have an iPhone too, all the OBDLink adapters should work fine I think. It is the cheaper off brand OBD2 adapters I have had problems with.

@@tyfonroad is there an app for iPhone that works with the ioniq? Which one? Thanks in advance. I might get the mx if this is the case, I thought all were for android.

The android ones are much better. You have something called EV Notify and OBDLink (from the makers) but it's nothing like car scanner or canioniq. I highly recommend the android version. I mostly got the MX to have options in the future and it also works with a tesla app for my X on the iphone. But even there I use android + scanmytesla most of the time :)

Björn Nyland managed 12 KWh per 100 km in Winter... 🙄
@tyfonroad
@tyfonroad 3 года назад
That's odd, does he have a new video on it? The one I saw some time ago was 175 Wh/km at 90 km/h. It matches pretty well what I saw at 110 km/h. 120 Wh/km is lower than normal summer consumption at 110 km/h.

@@tyfonroad hi. Give me an E mail Adress and I send you some Screenshots of my consumption. For the winter consumption of Björn Nyland just write him an Email or write into his comments. Kind regards Axel Schwingenheuer

@@elektrischerwiderstand Heh, the other comment was held in review probably due to the link and now youtube ate it :( I do understand quite a bit of german aber sprechen ist ein bischen schwer für mich :) I saw the table of consumption, what speed and temperature did you drive to get this for the different vehicles? I expect if I drive in the same speed and conditions the consumption would match pretty well.
