the worst battery drain I have since the iPhone 12 PM , 13 PM and now 14 PM is when I'm on my home wifi when iPhone is not used, weirdly enough mine consumes less battery on 5G and that's weird, so try to see if another wifi or just cellular is better to avoid battery drain, careful about significant locations, cos these are updated each time you stay in a place for more than 30 min , and it helps with optimized battery charging, if u disable this, you'll never have optimized battery charging. Location can be a real battery drain , but there are some toggle to keep for find my for example.

What about Photos? If location will be disabled on a photos will be no information where it was taken… or I am wrong?

I have 16.3 and it's still the same. My battery screen time is 4 hours and 30 minutes.

My iphone x still stops at night at 80% after turning off significant locations so its not true it still works fine

i have significant location off and my optimized battery charging still works, it knows my schedule and won't charge after 80% at a certain time.

If you disable significant locations optimized battery charging won’t work

this tip helped me a lot with my iPhone 14 pro max I highly recommend it

It’s all a shit show really. As if your phone doesn’t know where you are! I think Significant locations is just a local recorder of your data. So it remembers stuff. But it has nothing to do with, that your phone doesn’t know where you are! That’s bollix… THEY always know where you are and what you do! Even if you turn your phone off and go for a run! They know where, what type of activity, and how long your activity goes for! It’s just that they don’t share this with you! That’s why you have to turn on all these options, and then they are legally allowed to use your data! Boom. Wake up guys! It’s not a cellphone! It’s a spy device!
