Anyone having problem where intercom shortcut speed very fast after io18 update, I deleted the shortcut and created new shortcut with intercom but still no luck I noticed one thing it happens any time, which means twice it works fine but after that it speak fast and after some time speaks normal

If AI needs the new iPhone 15 Pro and higher/ newer, does that mean iOS will be fragmented? One version with Apple Intelligence for the new iPhones and one without it for the older ones? Man, just really trying hard not to be Android, aren't they?

AI limited to only A17 is such scummy move. Both A15 and A16 have faster Neural Engine than M1, whose Neural Engine is the same as A14. At least some of those features should definitely come to A14-A16 devices!

It’s not about the neural engine it’s about the amount of ram the 15 pro is the only one with 8 GB ram and most likely is the necessary amount to run LLM on device

@@massimilianosaturnino7296 I will update you later on the RAM usage on my M1 MBA when I use the feature But regardless even if some AI features are just intensive that A14-A16 can't handle due to RAM limitations, some light-features like object eraser should definitely coming (as Pixel 6 with much worse chip can do it off-cloud). Partly is better than having none at all

I've used both iPhones and Android phones in the form of Samsung but I always ended up back on iPhone and I have said many times that an iPhone with the customisation of an Android would be my ideal phone and know we are going to have that and I couldn't be happier

I use both Apple and Android and I am going to say the customisation and changing of colours on the iPhone look truly awful. The pixel does this way better and it fits with the phone. I am rocking the 14 pro max so I won’t get the AI features I truly feel sorry for the people that got the standard 15 but it’s great that after 10 years Siri is finally going to be useful. This still will not sway me in Apple being my only phone I am an Android 🤖 girl at heart.

I feel like it shouldn't be difficult to understand that apple intelligence and Siri aren't two different things. Apple intelligence is all the back end AI and Siri is one of the ways of interacting with or acting through that back end of apple intelligence. It's not two different things like Google assistant and Gemini but I keep hearing RU-vidrs talking like it is.

At this stage Apple is just copying Android. Android still reigns supreme. Still has more useful and helpful features and customisations is still far better. Still no on the fly ability to change ringtones using an MP3 file, still no way to change the height of the keyboard, still no way to completely hide apps using gestures or keypad codes and no way to do full page screenshot on a third-party browser or from an third-party app, no third-party icon support, etc. . I'll be sticking with Android forever thanks. To Apple , welcome to year 2020. Happy to be proven wrong. I'll wait.
