Bro my iPad was on 70% I left it for 10 min when I came back it did not turn on it was stuck… so I decided to leave it overnight as that has always worked for me… but it didn’t. So this morning I decided to find a video and I literally thought like “Oh crap! I have to take this to get fixed! It’s not working…” But I tried spamming the volume and off buttons, option 2, which is 1:27 then tap the up and down volume buttons and pressed the off button for 15-20sec and it turned on! So if it seems like it’s not working for you, it most likely because you’re not holding the power button long enough. Thanks so much!!! You’re a life saver!

Thanks a lot ! Recently I got my phone repaired and today in morning my iPad wasn’t working and I got worried a lot . As a Med student it’s like a nightmare … but the TAP METHOD actually worked 🥺 at first I thought how’s it possible but then I saw few comments on it so gave it a chance . @@Kei-ij3lg remember whenever you drop a device you’re not just damaging the screen or the housing. You’re also damaging the internal components. For instance, you dropping the device once could literally destroy the light behind the screen, therefore not letting it turn on or something else
@@Kei-ij3lgif its dropped you need to check with apple,if its broken then that means your gonna have to use ur warranty or if u had it for more than one year then your gonna have to buy a new one

You saved my life today! Got the infamous black screen of death. Thought it was a battery problem but I could charge my iPhone with the iPad, so couldn't be a battery issue. Consulted apple support and several videos/webpages without success. Eventually reached this video and the "tap method" eventually did the trick. Thank you very much! :)
I have to agree with the other comments that say, “You are a lifesaver!” My iPad Pro’s battery was low, it was put to charge and didn’t turn on after several hours of charging. Still didn’t turn on after charging overnight. Was thinking if I needed a new device, was wondering if it was still under warranty. Then I came across your video and committed to trying all the methods. I got to “tapping method” and IT WORKED!!! Thank you so much for your video. Now I’m going to back it up…just in case.

Whaaaa?!? I totally didn't think after the tapping, massaging and smacking didn't work that the freezer step made any sense. Lo and behold, the freezer step WORKED!!! Awesome!!! My 11 year old daughter's ipad, purchased used for her birthday just a couple months ago. Her mom barely let's her use it, so I was pretty bummed it seemed like garbage so fast. Hopefully this isn't a recurring thing.

Tried this method 7 times and didn't work. I left it alone, after 8 days I assumed the battery had gone flat. Without recharging, I tried the method again and got the flat battery symbol. That was the first time the screen worked in 8 days, although it was only the battery symbol. After 20 minutes of charging...... the iPad sprung to life with the charge at 1%. Thanks so much for this video. At the moment a second hand iPad Pro 11 inch is about US$900. So this did save me a ton of money.
you have no idea how much of a lifesaver you are. I'm a medical student and I live far away from home and this device is my life support. I don't go or do anything without it. and with no help centre in a 5mile radius idk what I would've done without this video. I thank you once again sincerely 🙏
Man you are a lifesaver. My iPad 10th gen was dead and even after charging it for 2 hours nothing and I tried you volume up and down and hold power button and it worked
YES!!! The first fix (up volume/down volume/hold power) worked!!! This was the first time is happened to me so I was terrified it somehow had just died (even though it is only 1 year old!).
Thanks mate, this happened to me, most likely due to the newest Update 16.1.1, looks like it was a bug that was caused alongside with the case that puts the iPad to sleep, it wasn't responding at all
Thank you so much for the tip! I contacted Apple customer support this morning as I was having this issue. The instruction they gave was not clear at all and was told that I need to make an appointment to have it repaired in-store. I wish I look for your video on RU-vid before wasting my time contacting customer support. My iPad turned on just by following the steps you show in the video! Thank you so much!

Just left the Apple Store where they told me it would cost me $750 to get an out of warranty replacement but that I truly should just buy a brand new one with warranty. Turns out all I had to do was tap around the screen as you demonstrated. Wow!

Can’t believe it works🤣🤣 I used the massaged method and focused on the screen connector area. I guess the connectors are just loose. I guess I don’t need to get a new iPad. Yet.

Wow tried everything you said and nothing worked. When you said put it in the freezer for 15 minutes I said I don’t think so. But what did I have to lose. Put it in for 15 minutes and when I took it out , did the reset snd bam. Its works great. Thank you so much.
