My iPad has been off you a year and a half and I tried resetting and all that other stuff, but I did this for 40-45 seconds and charged it, the battery icon showed up and worked👏 thank you

I did this method a year ago and I did it just now, it feels unbelievable at first but it worked again. Also my charger unfortunately works at a specific angle 😢 the charger port is moderately damaged... other than that the hair dryer is a hero 😅
My iPad has been stuck on the dead screen for a whole day and I was totally panicking and then I came across this video and I didn’t think it would’ve worked but surprisingly as soon as I use the hairdryer it worked instantly
I can’t believe this worked on my iPad Pro 11 second generation iPad! Thanks! Why does this work though? Does the heat from the hair dryer re-solder a broken connection? Or is it a power management chip issue? Just curious.
Hi are u suppose to do it with the charger plugged in?? My ipad has been dead for months and i know the battery is dead but it wont turn on now even when i charged it.. it only shows the battery dead sign. And is it safe to blow dry it while the charger is plugged in?? Also my ipad is 13 years olddd
So I did this and it worked. iPad that hasn’t been turned on since 6/29/21 was finally turning on 2/5/22. However the Home Screen was frozen I couldn’t put in my pin and swipe to turn the iPad off. What should I do now?
It didn’t work..... My iPad 7 has been flat for a few days and I tried to force restart it yesterday and it said it needed to be charged (no surprise there) and then and green line came up and then it just turned off :/ any ideas what I could do?
I iPad has been off for quite literally nearly a year (7 months) and I tried the first couple times didn’t work but this one time today if worked I did it for approximately 45-50 seconds and surprisingly worked and it even charged faster then before and works really well even when I’m using the iPad it charges faster then before you are a blessing Tysm
It totally works. 6 months my iPad was not charging and just in the drawer Then I try this and put it on charge and two hours later, it’s charging like normal Thank you so much
Completely dead battery, not charging, so i placed my ipad over a heater and after a couple of mins, it's alive again! Thank you so much! Give it a go folks.
Does this work in case my iPad is charging (I hear the sound) but screen is totally black , and no matter how much I try to reboot, I don't see the Apple logo. Or mine is NOT a battery problem?
Yes works normal but had to do the same process again 2 week later but at least keeps on working and also will probably be buying a new one since its like 4yrs old
Interesting video. Got 2 old iPads from a garage sale recently and they both after charging for a while display the Apple logo. Once unplug it just dies even though it would say 86% battery. I don't mind trying to use the hair dryer but since the insides of the iPad are pretty fragile, probably don't want to do that. Might be time to pay like $80+ for a shop to replace the battery or something to play around with in learning to do it yourself.
This happens because they were left with an empty battery for a long time, a month or more, or for days in all those years of usage. Batteries die when you have 0% of battery (displaying for us, of course, but there is more juice in the battery) we just can't use it. It's for safety reasons.
my ipad was out of battery since 2019, would this still work? nothing shows on the screen when i charge it, or if i hold down the power button. the screens completely black
Last 15 days my ipad 7th gen is also dead even i went mobile shop for repairing they said its CPU problem But when ipad power off I was watching RU-vid and battery life 2 percentage suddenly it show black screen after fer second maybe dead That's way i confuse how ipad have CPU problem no any damage or crack on it😢
Ohk to starting from the start one day my ipad 2 suddenly stopped charging and i kept it away but now when i need it....i tried several hacks but nothing worked....it was charging when it is switched off but not charging when it is switched on so i was charging it like that only from like past 3 weeks but now its now even charging like that....i can feel the current flowing in my ipad from the back side of its metal body but even after keeping it in charge whole night not even a single percent increases...i tried this heating hack but it started showing that 'your ipad needs to cool down before using'....pls healp me what should i do i really need a ipad for my studies to review pdf and cant afford a new one right now
@Andreyshunt yup it did, the logo disappeared because the ipad actually switched off since it was on just 1%, so after putting it on charge for longer it did start working well
i will try this when i get home.i charge it last last night and unplug it in the morning but when i try to open it doesnt on. itry power reset with charge atleast 1 hr but suddenly not work. i am using different cable in my ipad charger. maybe it is the culprit. my ipad is only 2 years old
