I been using the MagFlott Stand as well and for my use case, I don't need it to bend down. But the MagFlott Pro looks next level. It'll be cool if you can review that one and compare it to the old one.

As in fully upright with the iPad parallel to the desk? If you start apply pressure to the top or bottom edge it won’t stay perfectly straight if that’s what you mean
Can you fit a Mac mini in between the two legs that hold the iPad up? Or if you don’t have a Mac mini, is the gap between those legs equal to or wider than 197mm?
