Since you removed the entire components from the inside why not just buy the entire back housing ? That’s the stuff I’m trying to prevent!!!

Its for safety so you dont over heat the battery, logic board cameras, and flash i fix phones personally to but buying a whole housing is more expensive than just the back glass

Hi, I'm doing this repair and I'm nervous breaking the glass off the camera lens area, my camera frame is very wiggly and on the inside it looks like there's black tape or flex cable attached to the bottom of it Do you think that it's okay for me to put some pressure on it when breaking the glass off or no?

Do not try this at home… just get it fixed with apple or anything else but this, this guy makes it look way too easy… Anyways I no longer have an iPhone 8 Plus anymore 😭😭🤣

Great video, but I was looking for a way without a teardown. If I have to do a teardown I might as well do a housing swap like I did on the 2 iPhone XR(s), saves me time and risks of destroying something else. Nonetheless, I did enjoy the video. Everyone is asking: WHERE DID YOU GET THAT PHONE HOLDER THINGY AND WHAT IS THE NAME OF THAT GIANT CLAMP?

In a previous video I saw u repair an iPhone 10 back glass without dismantling it ... Is there any reason for separating the parts this time before repairing the glass?

Hey! You should dismantle the phone. At the very least the logic board, battery, and camera. That prolonged exposure to high temps won’t do well to those parts... even if you don’t see it right away. Leaving small parts like the Taptic Engine or the lightning port in place is still a gamble however you can find replacements for a couple dollars. It’s all a risk analysis. Blessings.

Mine, i broke the rear cam. Tho no damage physically but the rear cameras blurry. So after replacing back case, i bought a new rear camera. Double job. But still j saved money.

Terrible phone design at its finest. Love how easy mine is with adhesive just around the edge and a little the middle, and can remove it in one piece. Apple loves torturing special people. 😂
