Iracing looks very clean, but difficult. Most accidents seem to be caused by genuine mistakes from people pushing hard. I would say you count as a dirty driver, punting 2 peolpe off within 3 races is a brilliant look! Also, when theres a wreck upfront it tells you on the screen and a radio message comes through, you might want to pay attention to these instead of being mind blown to find a stopped car on the apex in 2 corners time.

We don't really know what happened actually so it's hard to tell. That being said, him not slowing AT ALL when the spotter must have told him 3-4 times that there was a car stopped ahead + yellow flag ... That was utterly stupid.

If you get that kind of damage that early in the race, pit and take the fast repair. Rookie and D series races give you 1 free instant repair. There's no real mechanism to enforce rolling starts behind the front row, so if people are messing around you can protest them. You're supposed to maintain your pace and a reasonable gap. Once the pace car leaves the track the start is under control of the leader. The leader can go any time after the pace car pulls off. Once the leader goes everyone can go and pass on any side (you can only pass on the right before the s/f line if it's an oval race). The only thing to watch out for is to not pass the leader before the s/f line, which should only be possible if you jumped the start or the leader checked up (protestable).

I've watch so much Super GT the past couple of days I find myself quoting the man himself all too often *supermarket with the trolley* Alright exiting the aisle, clipping the apex nicely and bring her round flat-out able to really stretch the aisle limits here two wheels pretty much in the self serve.

Btw at the end of the race you can set or use CTRL 1(numpad) to skip through all the incidents. This includes most collisions and 1x. Great tool especially when streaming

During a rolling start, in any series, the second the pace car is off the track is fair game for the leader to go. No need to wait for the green. This allows the leader to be very unpredictable

@@PursuingBrilliantSpeed Of course private leagues is the cleanest way to race in any game, but you never get as many races and/or as full of a grid. You cant just jump in a league race at any hour of the week and get decent racing with full grids like you can on iracing. "Crashiness" depends on the series you chose in iracing. Some, like ferrari fixed (which is the worst), are more crashy than others as the car is fast and not easy to drive and its a low class series with a lot of inexperienced drivers. But people are virtually never as intentionally crashing in public lobbies on iracing vs basically anything else, and dont forget that the racing in iracing is much closer with 2 lines rolling starts vs everybody starting with a delta of a second like in gt sport for example, and the damage model is much more unforgiving than other sims too... Also crashes happens and are part of racing. People get competitive and push and mess up (and the driving is much harder not to mess up vs other games like gt sport to use this ecample again), but people who intentionally wreck on iracing gets the ban hammer real fast compared to basically any other games.

Not sure the red car being spun was your fault. Your nose was in front of his wheel, and it looked like he turned in? If so, he PIT manoeuvres himself, you've got every right to go for the inside line.

Sure, but it's never good to only put a tiny part of your car alongside. If I wanted to go for it, I needed to fully commit. Still, I think it was both of our faults I would say.

@@Super_GT the fact that you didn't receive a car contact warning indicates that it was a netcode issue. Both parties having strong internet connection in the same situation, you likely would have gotten away with it, or sideswiped him and picked up a 0x car contact warning for soft contact. Granted, avoiding potential netcode situations is something that comes with experience on the service, but I wouldn't put you 100% at fault - I'd partly blame connection.

I'm running the same series and I have much of the same experience. People have no respect, and won't even touch the brakes before slamming into you. Several times I haven't even gotten out from behind the safety car before I'm slammed into from behind. It's madness

Your absolutely right, it's a MUPPET SHOW. It's almost impossible to finish a race whitout crashes. My ideer is that if you want to start a race you have to do 5-10 laps whitout accident. It's typical that the driver don't know the track or the car so it have to go wrong And every one wants to win before the first corner .

It’s just like turismo and safety ratings you gotta get that up at all costs and the key is to lose positions over avoiding all contact. Give people plenty of room wait till that safety rating climbs then go for positions

The set up may be fixed but the brake bias is adjustable. I would move it to 53.4-53.8% really helps with stopping the rear from snapping out. Good video btw

Damn I was the white Ferrari that spun in turn 2 causing that pileup. It's so hard getting turn 2 right, if you brake just slightly too hard you spin and not enough then you go flying off in the wall.

Trail braking is rewarding in this car if you can master it.. I tend to find that adjusting brake bias to the front a bit helps a lot with that

15:38, with how much they struggled going into the technical section of the course, and how you were taking separate lines on the straight. I think your ffb settings are too high. The ffb bar turns orange when cornering, this means that it probably maxes out. Of it maxes out you can't feel it properly anymore. As for the carnage, no ghosting makes it so much worse, and the fact that lower class people can't rejoin and brake.

I wouldn't say it's "dirtier" as such, more that people in iR in the official races tend to drive over their actual ability than being Forza rammers. I tend to stick to Hosted and Leauge events to try avoid this. I'm also not saying iRacing doesn't have dirty drivers as it defenitly does

The problem with Forza 7 is that turn 10 doesn't make the braking right. The brakes are locking even if you slightly press the left trigger.
