Corvettes and Astons Martins are in this race -> Corvette Martins (CM AGAIN). There is only one logical explanation for all of this people - *Empty Box is illuminati confirmed!!!!*

JERACERX yeah, they had a couple outlaw tracks in the 80s that closed Insurance reasons , and I haven't been to Maryland since 89 -- did 5 on the cut they gave me interstate compact finished at Buccingham kept going south and never looked back .. I figured PG county police got into the kitchen and what do they say ? can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen .

random question. do you think that it would be possible to safely run a mixed field using gt1 v8 and super late as the different classes? from what I have seen, they all seem to run close enough in low end acceleration, but with a bit different handling styles. so it would be kinda fun. especially on sometime like road atlanta.
No way that run was a bummer. You gave it everything you had for like 10-12 straight laps all between 1:14:5 and 1:14:7. Very good run. Best Ive seen you run in a long time.
My clubsport v2 pedals bit the dust not too long ago, and I'm kind of hesitant to stick with Fanatec after the hassles I've had with their hall sensors. Are there any hardware nerds that could give insight into whether the new sensors for the v3s are worth another try?
Is it up to the driver what car and track you go to every week in iRacing or must you follow a certain list? Always interested in iRacing but the last few videos have been ovals or tracks within ovals. Can you race in proper circuits if you want?
86 THEMADHATTER The car and schedule are dictated by the series you choose to run. However, which series you run is completely up to you, provided you have a high enough license. For example, you can race in the Skip Barber series one week, GT1 in the next, and trucks in the third. Or, if you prefer, you can run all three in the same week. If you can't find a car and track combination you like, then you can always pay a few bucks to host a race of your own. You even get to decide the license requirements and other custom rules for your hosted race - Late Model vs FW31 if you feel like it - but you won't get any points/iRating/Safety Rating.
Hey emtpy box, Currently I don't play iracing but I really want to. The problem is, I hate the fact I have to pay for most cars. If I were to do the higher class NASCAR (the Chevy, Toyota and Ford) do I have to buy all 3 to compete?
John Moore Big tip, buy multiple items at a time that you know you will use (you get a discount). Take a look at the schedule for the series you want to run and buy what you need as well as the cars you need. You can just race MX-5 which is free to begin with. It is expensive when you buy everything, bit by bit is easier on the wallet.
Emily1963eh ^^^ What he said. Before you know it, you'll have 75% or more of the content, and won't need to buy a single thing more. Other than the subscription fee of course. I've been on the service for a little more than a year and a half. I own every car but 2 that I'll never drive, like the TDI for example, and basically every track except 1, which is a smaller track that mostly only late models and modifieds run on. I've spent a lot of money on the service, but the thing that makes it feel "worth it" is the fact that there isn't a sim on earth that touchs iRacing in terms of realism, and racing etiquette. Sure, there's stupid crap that happens on iRacing, but when you compare it to any other sim on the market like RFactor or Project Cars, or AC -- it's MUCH less often due to the system iRacing has in place for licenses and Safety Rating. Sometimes I wish iRacing was a 1 time cost game like the old Papyrus NASCAR games of the past were, sure... but over the year and a half I've spent on the service, there hasn't been a period of longer than a week or so, where I wasn't using the service, or not being absolutely hooked on the racing the sim has to offer. I got my money's worth so far, that's for damn sure.
Krzysztof Kotarba Week 13 races are the equivalent of a open server in rFactor or Forza / GT. Lot of people don't practice and don't usually drive the car, hence a lot of them are way way off pace.

Empty Box Either way great race, btw, do you have a decent setup? I can't get it to stop randomly oversteering mid corner, and the car goes into severe epilepsy.
Gravity I might be wrong, but in my experience adjusting camber or downforce just a bit in the rear solves it. Getting these cars to my liking doesn't take long for me, it's just getting those 'unexpected behaviors" figured out is what takes me awhile. But when I get the surprise oversteer, that is usually the spots I hit first to try and fix it. Usually mess with the ARB after. If those don't work, then I just give up and try to work with it.
