It's not, for 1. russia hypes up all their weapons, never as good as advertised, s3/400 is the best example of that. 2. not a better radar, contrary cuz su35 has a passive radar while most F16s are equiped with better, modern active AESA radars. Both are very maneuvrable, that's not a thing since dogfights are rare now. F16 also has modern electronics & very good EW, deadly AMRAAM missiles. And then we're comparing it to the best jet russia has operational, being this su35. Most jets around Ukraine are older or worse.

Su-35s is far superior fighter jet than F-16. Su-35 MTOW: 34.5 ton (heavy weight), F-16 MTOW: 19.2 ton (middle). They are just in different league. Su-35s should be compared with heavy weight fighter jet F-15E Strike Engle. MTOW: 36.7 ton.

F 35 radars pick up much further then both 😂 and isn’t even a dog fighter plane. But that’s one the things special about the F35 it looks like a fly on radar.

The North Vietnamese had about 16 aces throughout the War while the US only had 3 aces. At the same time Egypt had 5 aces and Syria had 7 aces. Israel had 49 aces. Don't forget the Israel-Arab and the American-Vietnamese battles happened while having the same aircraft and equipment. Israel would simply toy with Iran's "air force" with or without the SU-35s 🤦♂
F-16 V blk 70/72 definitely got an edge over the su-35, interms of maneuverability which is the only main characteristic required during combat. However su-35 carries more payload and given the experience the russian pilots have on su-35 as opposed to ukrainians having it on the f-16 makes it a no comparison.

F-16's flanker has thrust-vectoring engines to help with manoeuvring, a robust radar system capable of engaging multiple targets simultaneously, and advanced countermeasures against enemy radar. The SU-35 has just a twin engine which may give an extra edge in thrust vectoring and just has greater firepower than the F-16. But the main thing here is F-16 can go to mach 2 while only the Russian sources says it can go at least mach 2.2 which shows no reliability because we have not seen that ourself

in a dog fight the su 35s has an advantage , in BVR the SU 35 has an advantage but F16 with awacs aircraft support will have an advantage since it can shoot its AIM-120 amraam for a greater distance where as the russian R77 is also good but doesnt have the seeking range of AIM-120 or even a meteor (NATO) missile . ALTOUGH if the SU 35 is carring russian hypersonic missiles will always have an advantage but this is still a prototype missile. @@plusultra7258 I am not sure if you are aware of any informuations, but SU-35 Radars are far superior to F-16. They are using PESA radar which can track up to 30 targets and navigate missiles to up to 8 targets simultaneously, even tho this radar is inferiour to AESA radars, some modernized SU-35 has AESA radars from SU-57 which are on par with F-22/35 or maybe a little bit worse.

The comparison suggests that you ( the party making the video and the argument ) know very little about military aviation and fighter air crafts. The f16 is a short range light attack-fighter air craft while the Su 35 is a long range heavy air superiority and multi-role air craft. The f16 maybe compared with the Mig 29 and the Mig 35 ( based on the generation of the f16). The Su 35 maybe compared with the US f15 in terms of class and type and in such a comparison the Su35 emerges first in all aspects. Actually, and with the exception of stealth the Su 35 tops most of the US f22 raptor capabilities. With the diligence and high sophistication of Iran's technical abilities and technologies in military aviation, the SU 35 would be utilised to its fullest capacity and unless Israel gets the F22 it will be in an exposed and inferior position. Even the US will soon realise that Iran is closing the capability gap and is emerging on top even in the field were the the US had a great advantage for decades.
