very cool! i love that iridescence. i remember encountering mica flakes in nature on a mountain path, they really shimmered in the sun -- quite magical... like this piece!
I love your work and your channel. What is the mechanism you are using to keep your paper square and register consistently? I can’t find anything like it.
my printing bed was a generous gift from a woodworker friend, it is custom made. I have however made a video demonstrating a registration device made of 2 pieces of molding, just as good, and so much cheaper! Great to see you’ve solve the registration issue. This is a great print and as always your colourways work beautifully . I personally prefer the previous print you made with the red pearlescent as it appeared to me to be more transparent which allowed the background design to subtlety come through. Would you agree and if so why did it appear more transparent, was it because you used a lighter film of ink? Thanks for sharing.
@@grahamewebber4038 please keep in mind these exercises are experimental and I don't pretend to be an expert. Paints are very unpredictable and the only way to find out is to do tests. Throw in the variables of people's tastes and preferences. I go by my gut instincts.
Hey just wanted to share at dollar tree they have this rubber lining people use to put on shelves so their dishes don't slide also under runner carpet so it doesn't slide great to use under glass. And it's only a dollar twenty-five. Enjoy you so much !
