I’ve seen many broken ass isekai characters like Ainz, Rimuru, Anos, etc. But aside from literally being a walking nuke, the fact he’s able to psychologically make anyone he faces feel like they’ve been killed without even physically attacking yet is one of the most genius, edgy and busted ways to throw anyone off their game
Facts lol rimuru is a walking cheat. Anos literally plays with ppl. And shadow is lowkey the scariest. He’s a psychopath. What anime is ain’z from? I need to put it on my list if it’s an isekai
@@dinodino8640 He's either recruiting her or he is training her.... You can tell because most of his dialogue is directed at her. "Prove to me you are worth my time" (After Beatrix blocks hit from back) "Very nicely done, you are almost as good as we are" (Beatrix teleports behind Shadow like he did earlier) "YES I KNEW IT! SHE HAS REAL POTENTIAL!"
tf you say cid had fun witch beatrix he didint even try to harm her he was flexing entire fight witch her and even testet witch technique on her if he wanted he would do a fukin explosion!!!!!!!!!! and gg she may could last some second if she knew he was comming at her
@@aleksejtorschin1549 he crucified himself to try and gain magic power, and became a vigilante as a normal dude. Has been excitedly offing dudes left and right since a young age. He also casually lets people stab him in the chest.
@@Slowpoke3x The reason why he is not a psychopath for me is, because he has not really the intention to kill. It is just about improving his power. He also don't act out of hate or anger or bloodlust.
@@aleksejtorschin1549 you have a misunderstanding of what a phycopath is, And is confusing it with a sadist. A phycopath is simply someone without empathy and will simply do what they want with no care for others wants and plans. A sadist is someone who enjoys hurting others. You often hear about sadistic phycopaths in the news for horrible crimes. But honestly the majority of phycopaths are capable of blending in with normal society is because there goals aren’t to hurt others but to advance themselves at any cost. Shadow is very clearly a phycopath who’s goals are to get stronger and have fun showing that off without having to deal with the stresses of always being hunted. So to maintain that goal, he has a army of hundreds of women which most he has brainwashed himself and has a cult religious like leadership role over the group, he’s thrown whole country’s into turmoil just so he can show off. Yes he is 100% a phycopath, just not a overtly sadistic one
what i like about Cid though is he doesn't rely on his powers to overpower his opponents. He views his battle as a conversation. He also has experience from his previous life.
I loved this episode. It was well worth the wait Iris's original Japanese voice casting was so spot on as well, the frustration she showed in her voice through this fight was amazing! 👏
Dude that’s terrifying. Imagine fighting him and then next thing you know he does that and no sound or nothing is playing and literally just teleports behind you ready to strike you down. And there’s no sound to him doing it too. Just silence.
@@darklord1366 i think its supposed to sort of depict her perception of his speed. Like how she been following along with him, and keeping up, just for him to take a step, and her feel and see nothing.
@@aadenfoutch8011 Hm maybe that would make sense. But just imagine that from our perspective if we saw him do this. He takes one step and he disappears. Only to appear behind us and… well we can only hope we block his attack at that point (impossible)
When Cid is fight the two most powerful people in their kingdom and shows that he is not someone who is just a small threat. He is the threat to the cult and the kingdoms as well. When Beatrix and Shadow fight is so awesome.
4:29 Shadow when he literally kicked Iris away was like: "I have no time for weaklings. I wish to be face an actual warrior!" Thats the vibes I got when he kicked her and when he kneed her in the chin.
The best part about this episode to me is the fact that shadow exposed how Iris's mental fortitude is almost non-existent. She let Shadow rattle her to the point where she could barely do anything and then basically allow him to guide her by the nose the entire fight
I love the only reason she thought her body was being attacked, was because she is just on a higher level than the common fighter. Her being so much better than most people, made her look weaker when Fighting Mundane Man
I always thought that Iris was pretty sane, all things considered. She's just under a massive amount of pressure from all the expectations people put on her.
Yeah that was my thought. She went on a rampage and fought Shadow, destroying the city, just because Shadow is so much stronger than her. She can hide behind her "can't let organizations operate behind the scenes" excuse and lump Shadow Garden in with the Cult all she wants. It still boils down to her getting upset that Shadow Garden overcame situations she was powerless in.
I don't understand why this fight is cut a rearranged. They put the climax of the fight in the middle and jump to different points in the fight. Even if you haven't seen the full episode with the fight you can tell that the scene is being rearranged.
I hope that they bring Beatrix and Annerose back because I haven't seen them in the manga after the God of War Tournament. I hope that both of them are brought back, but I am very curious as to how Annerose will react when she finds out that Mundane Mann was Shadow, or that Shadow was Mundane Mann, either way you know what I am talking about. I want both Beatrix and Annerose to come back. Along with Alexia and Iris.I hope that they bring Beatrix and Annerose back because I haven't seen them in the manga after the God of War Tournament. Imma be real chief, the way this was cut was a bit saddening. You have the fight all jumbled up and mixed around. Feels really off when knowing how the fight is actually progressed.
The moment where this person got beheaded, but was still alive for a few seconds is actually accurate. This is because you're brain doesn't realize that youre about to be dead and thats why you're only alive after a few seconds of beheadment. The creators of this anime we're on point with this human anatomical detail. 0:30
Don't think that's even been demonstrated. Know back during guillotine era they asked people to blink if they were still conscious after the beheading. Nobody ever did though.
The fact tat Cid didnt even touch Iris... he jus used a hallucination spell in the battle arena tournament.... then he takes her down without really hurting her... bro respects women. But here 2:50 he dont hestiate to roast.... 3:30 she shoud've seen tat coming. Like girl if u dont attcak with sword at tat range u got to watch out for the feet and protect the face. Then here 4:16 how is nobody noticing the battle here. 4:30 oh snap he pulled the crowbar here!!! It bout to get real. 5:00 bro became a water bender. 5:13 Bro really luvs to kick Iris all the time huh. 5:24 dude jus smiling here... hes totally unpaised by Iris. Ouch...
Maybe bc there is no hatred 😂 the show clearly is displaying that shadow is the threat but idris clearly doesn’t understand either therefore there no needs for hate
He mighta been testing her in this fight. Some of his comments seem like he was training her, he also only really talks to Beatrix while only insulting Iris.
I completely agree this editing was well not to be rude... ummm bad. So many things are missing. I can't even follow what happens next. And it's missing so much story line. Sigh
@@RandomMackem3247 I'm remembering that his atomic blasts were pretty devasting. And the one that also flooded out the town/city. Ok, I'm thinking of Season 1. perhaps, Betrix and Iris did more in the next one?
@@darwinjina this fight was in season one and when Cid used his atomic in ep5 the place was evacuated, and the only indirect casualties Cid cause was in limdwurm when he flooded the city with his attack
the sub is 100000000× better, and i am not saying that the dub is trash (it is not good either) but the sub is just Godly just the feeling behind the words, the pain or carelessness in the voices.
ngl L vid didn't even show the ''run where and why'' part plus all the cuts but to be fair i should have just watched the episode in dub from the start all good tho
