In this video I will explain what the prepositions are that originate from the Irish word As, I will go down through each one covering pronunciation as well as personal pronouns so you can have a good understanding of the rule. I will also share with you some phrases that will illustrate the rules in a clear way.

Recent subscriber here. Great work. I've seen some of these words in sentences before and had no idea they were as + pronoun combinations. This video was really useful to help me now recognise all these combinations :)

I have just recently discovered your videos, and am really enjoying them - you are a delight to listen to! I am a complete beginner, with knowledge of other languages, but Irish is a completely different kettle of fish 😉 As I am of Irish descent, and am now the proud owner of an Irish passport, I thought I might like to find out a bit about the language. One question. On the list written in blue (English pronouns), you are mixing, if I'm not wrong, the subject and the object pronouns (so I don't know the corresponding translation). I mean: I / me you / you he / him she / her (it / it) we / us you / you they / them So...?
